Louis M. Martini Winery

We were 8 people going to the winery for a tasting. We had the best experience. Marcus welcomed us and showed us around, after which James seated us and did our wine tasting. We had cheese platters as well, and James went out of his way to create our little own wine pairing with bites from the platter. The whole experience was amazing, and we really enjoyed the wines. We had such a good tike and created memories that will last us a long time. Thank you for your hospitality!

Louis M. Martini Winery immersed me in rich history, elegant and refined wine, and a truly impressive culinary experience. What took it to the next level was Andrew's 5-star service. His passion shines through his service, and deep knowledge of the wine and culinary arts. I would recommend Louis M. Martini to anyone looking to have an unforgettable, elevated yet approachable wine country experience.

We began our Taste of Martini Flight experience with an artisanal cheese board pairing. We had a glass of Sauvignon Blanc as our welcome drink at the check-in area. Everything went smoothly, and their cheeseboard came with dried fruit compote, marinated olives, and house-made lavash.

The standout drink for me was their Malbec, which had rich notes of raspberry and dark chocolate, with the right amount of tannin.

This wine tasting and experience stands apart from others. Each wine was so delicious and distinctive there was no way to pick a favorite! If you are a lover of red wine, Louis Martini should be at the top of your list to visit and for stocking your wine collection!

The initial welcome by the two ladies was fantastic; they set a wonderful tone! Unfortunately, the table service didn't quite match up. Our server seemed rushed, quickly delivering water and the cheese platter, then swiftly going through the wine descriptions without much insight into pairings. While the wines were acceptable, there's definitely room for improvement in the service aspect.

Another awesome visit to Louis Martinj. Did the Crown Collection Pairing with James as our host and it did not disappoint. James made the experience approachable, educational and fun. Really great way to get a taste of Louis Martini’s portfolio of Cabernet wines. Would absolutely recommend.

Our visit to the underground seller at Louis M. Martini Winery was nothing short of outstanding, and a huge part of that was thanks to James. From the moment we stepped into the space, his passion, deep knowledge of wine, and engaging storytelling elevated the entire experience. James masterfully guided us through the history of the winery, the intricacies of the cellar, and the nuances of each pour with a level of expertise and enthusiasm that made everything feel personalized and unforgettable.

He struck the perfect balance between education and entertainment—answering every question with detail and clarity, while also reading the room and tailoring the tasting to our interests. It’s rare to meet someone who combines technical knowledge with such genuine hospitality, but James does exactly that. He’s not just a great host—he’s an absolute asset to the Louis Martini team and a big reason why we’ll be recommending this experience to others.

If you’re considering the underground seller experience, do it—and hope you get James. He’ll turn a great visit into a truly memorable one.

We were pleasantly surprised to find the winery relatively quiet on a Sunday. Its elegant interior exudes luxury, while the charming garden, complete with tables, couches, and gazebos, creates a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The wine, cheese board, and service were all outstanding. We especially enjoyed the Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Zinfandel, and the olives that accompanied the cheese board were absolutely delicious. The staff was patient with our children, who had a great time exploring the garden. We left with several bottles of their wine and look forward to returning.

First of all get the Cheese board with your tasting. It’s amazing. If you get Carrie you are lucky! She answered all of our curiosities and we couldn’t be more appreciative. Becoming members was a no brainer. We had a great experience! Thank you.

Wonderful experience! We did not have an appointment and just wanted a glass of wine. They accommodated us and even offered to clean off any outside table if we wanted to sit in the sun. Most people were inside. They even turned on the fire just for us!! We also ordered a cheese plate and it was delicious and not overpriced like so many other Napa wineries. Sauvignon Blanc was superb and bought a bottle.

It has been a long time since we visited this winery. We were truly impressed with the upgrades. The grounds were well maintained. The tasting rooms were spacious. The wines were enjoyable and memorable for us to bring our guests to visit this winery again in the future. No advanced reservations needed, ours was a walk-in tasting.

We did a tasting with Jean and it was absolutely wonderful. I'm so glad we stopped by.
