We were guests at Domaine Carneros
This past Friday, December 13,2024.
Unfortunately our whole meal was lukewarm at best. The ravioli stuffed with butternut squash, less than warm.
The New York steak was presented well. But again lukewarm at best. I did send it back, they warmed the plate, but the meat was still cool and tough.

Oak St. Catering has been a great opportunity to try a full meal at a great price. I love supporting local business and they supply full meals for pickup. My husband and I have tried a Greek option, and this Sunday a Salad with steak option. The fried chicken is delicious on Thursday as well. Perfect when you don’t know what to do for dinner during this frantic time.

Oak avenue catering is THE BEST catering company in the valley! They catered our wedding welcome party and Sunday brunch and from the day we booked them I knew it was the best choice! The tasting was mind blowing, with so many mouth watering options and seasonal offerings that were truly to die for. The service was impeccable and personal, they made our dreams come true. The food was our top thing and they delivered. For Our welcome party and brunch we used their food truck Out on a Limb that blew our guests out of the water with simply perfect and elevated offering. We can’t thank Oak Avenue enough for all they did to truly make our wedding and events delicious!

Oak Avenue Catering catered our rehearsal dinner and I could not have been more impressed. The food was absolutely fantastic (4 months later, we are still talking about it...) and John was amazing to work with. Everything went seamlessly and everyone loved the food and how well it paired with the wine at Miner. I would definitely use Oak Avenue again.
Thank you so much to Christina Kelly and the team at Oak Avenue. Our cake was stunning and beyond anything we could’ve envisioned. They took the time to make us samples of different vanilla funfetti flavors and were receptive to our crazy requests (like more sprinkles!). They definitely went above and beyond, with Christina coming to the venue to deliver our cake on our wedding day. And everyone we’ve talked to has raved about the cake, they truly do an incredible job.
Great food. Amazing chefs. Amazing pastrys.
I just had a dinner at a winery in Sonoma and used Oak Avenue Catering. My guests really enjoyed their dinner.

Planning a Napa destination wedding and the associated events can be a daunting task of finding venue and vendors. Making these decisions long distance based on online reviews and websites is frustrating and confusing. I am writing this before I have even tasted Oak Avenue Catering culinary creations, because of the outstanding service. John Diba has been beyond kind, helpful, and generous with his time in planning the event. He exceeded my every expectation.
Oak Avenue Catering (formerly known as Knickerbocker’s) provided 5-star service, excellent attention to detail and not to mention the gourmet, quintessential Napa Valley cuisine for our recent wedding in St. Helena! We feel very lucky to have had them cater our wedding, as they don’t do many (they are quite popular in the valley – book well in advance). The owners, Chris & Shannon Kelly, really worked with us on our budget, and John Diba, the manager, was great with follow up and very patient with our last minute adjustments. Everyone raved about the food and how their team was able to pull off such a gourmet dinner for 105 people in the middle of a vineyard on a mountain with scarce electricity! Additionally, they staffed the event just right and no one was ever waiting for a drink to be refilled or wondering where their plate was. We served a mozzarella/tomato starter, had a chicken, short rib (boneless) and vegetarian mains. Chris made us a beautiful cake with lemon custard, cream cheese filling and a champagne infused buttercream frosting. My only regret is not taking the time to eat my entire plate! Good thing I sampled everything at our tasting and I’m already looking forward to enjoying more cake at our one-year anniversary. Absolutely a 5-star experience and meal. NOT your typical “wedding food” experience!
