Great service with a relaxing atmosphere. Easy to sit down, ask questions, and enjoy the tasting with some snacks. Best port I've ever had.
They just don't care. The port is fine, but everything else screams we don't care, and go away. From the service to the building, we just don't care. If you like port, go-to Porto, it's amazing.
We stopped in unexpectedly and we are so happy we did! Great wine made by a great small family! The tasting was hosted by the family which made it even better! Definitely recommend!!! We were amazed by all the money on the wall left by customers from pretty much every country! We added to the wall and can’t wait to come back on our next trip to Napa. Thank you!! 🫶
This is a must if you’re in Napa. Some of the best Port I’ve had. Cool atmosphere in the tasting room, personable owners and staff, fantastic port.
They were walk-in welcome and the man who helped us was wonderful. Very knowledgeable on the ports they produce, and paired the ports wonderfully with food samples during the tasting.
Their royal escort port was phenomenal, ans they also have dark chocolates made including a gel from their tawny port that is divine.
10/10 recommend stopping buy if you enjoy ports and will definitely return next time I visit Napa.
Drove by and noticed the small port works sign. Went back, and it was amazing.
This place is slept on too often!! My wife and I love visiting Prager when we are out here. We made a reservation and were helped by James. Every Current wine they had was incredible. The tasting snack pack the family makes for guests was very good and creative. James made our experience 1000 times better. Can’t give this guy enough gratitude for his grace, his patience and his overall awesome attitude. Even brought our card to us at the Embassy downtown after we had left it. Thank you 1000 times to James and thank you Prager for always raising the bar. We will be back sooner than usual!
Our experience here was great. These guys know a lot about, and make some quite delicious port! Loved the white port, and the tawny options in general. Definitely a unique experience, and one to visit for sure.
We had a fabulous port tasting. Love that this is a local family owned boutique port works!
$50 got us a beautiful owner poured tasting, that was definitely generous enough to share, some small nibbles and a souvenir glass.
Jeff was very knowledge and was able to answer all of our groups questions about different varieties of port etc.
We enjoyed some fabulous ports and good times, thank you! We will be back for sure!
Made same day booking, received complimentary wine glass for our tasing ($50). Came here because my friend loves sweet wine; she left with a bottle. Our host did not share much commentary, but he did tell us about the ports enough that we could make an educated decision on how to store, keep and drink it. Another couple there got a lot more narrative, so I know we could have gotten more. Our experience felt rushed, pricy for the lack of attention.

Do not miss if you love port.Local family owned winery with some of the best port wine. We were looking for something that compared to the wine we had in Porto and this place has exactly what we wanted. The snacks they gave was all locally made by the family and was delicious
An absolute gem. Family run, great wine and ports sold by the glass, beautiful grounds nestled away, and the cherry on top is you can enjoy cigars outside on the property in a beautiful setting. They have a small humidor with a few good sticks on site. This place should be protected at all costs :)
Jeff and Peter are fabulous. We had a great visit and wonderful Port! Remember to support a family run winery by picking up a bottle of two after your tasting experience!!

This winery is a hidden treasure. The atmosphere is cozy and unpretentious, with excellent port wines. It's a must-visit for anyone interested in a port wine tasting experience. Peter was extremely knowledgeable, providing detailed information about the wines as we sampled, and we never felt rushed. The service was top-notch, and as a fun bonus, you get to keep the wine glass as a souvenir.
I noticed some review mentioning the wine quantity, but since it's port wine with a higher alcohol content than regular wines, the amount we were served felt appropriate.
Thanking Peter for this pleasant experience
