First let me say our very 1st time to Napa Valley, which at 65 is sad in itself (but we made it for my milestone birthday)… Family of four and we all left hungry, sad as we don’t eat much anyway. We joked as each course came out that we would have enjoyed Taco Bell better - that’s a very low bar! We are not foodies or wine connoisseurs, but we know good food and wine. Most chefs state that as a Michelin star restaurant, everyone should love the food. First, the sommelier must have been in training, as I wanted a recommendation for a “red” to pair with the prefix 3-course meal and under $300. He flipped straight to the $300 up page. While recommending there was a woman standing back watching every move/word. Just uncomfortable. The food, the only edible items were the pretzel bread with caviar/cheese and the desserts. However the dessert was like candies from an assorted chocolate box. The staff never ask if we liked or wanted anything just took our plates on/off like robots with no expression. You would think a chef would see plates coming back with one little piece missing and wonder why. $1600 later..do not recommend.
We hosted a client event at PRESS and it was one of the best experiences ever! Not only was the food and wine incredible, the service and atmosphere were perfection. Thank you Camber and team for making our private event so successful and memorable. What a special experience!

Had an amazing 7-course dinner with wine pairing. Food and service were incredible. My only comment is that customers need a little more time in between each course so that the dining experience does not feel rushed.
Amazing atmosphere, service and great food. To any negative comments about the food, it’s exactly what you are paying for. I want to shout out Robin, Victor, and Riley for making the experience fun and enjoyable! It was great to have great banter and conversation and not feel like it was a stuffy place. Highly recommend.

Celebrated our 20th anniversary here. We hadn’t been to Press since Valentine’s Day many years ago. We’ve been hearing all the reviews and decided to splurge and go back. The dining room was humming on a Tuesday night. Excellent service. Very enjoyable pairings. The tomato course was the only one that didn’t wow us. Loved the big antique clock, pendant lights, pretty serviceware presentations, and all of the little banquette seating nooks that make dining romantic. They have a huge wine selection, and tons of bottles aren’t on the list. They found a lovely half bottle of Champagne for us to celebrate with. Thanks to the staff for making our evening so special. Yes, it’s expensive but that is expected. The only price that seemed off was the supplemental caviar bread crown appetizer. It really clever and delicious, but fancy pretzel bread and butter with a small layer of caviar on top seemed more like a $50 item, not $75.

The ambiance is nice enough. The food was hit or miss. The caviar pretzel was great while the white surgeon caviar was too acidic and was an issue with the wine. The Alaskan Halibut was outstanding but the American Wagyu was undercooked - the lack of rendering the fat left the beef chewy and not having much taste. I took one bite of my dessert, and the ended my dinner. It was sickenly sweet and not fit for human consumption. Our server did not offer a remedy for the dessert, he just shrugged his shoulders and took the plate away. The ladies the served the food and cleared seemed very dour and pretentious. This is a Napa one star, NOT Noma. ps Noma was very welcoming with outstanding food. I think they should spend more focus on the quality of the food and friendiness of the staff and less time trying to im-press.
Overall experience was wonderful. Food, staff and ambiance were really great. We did the seven course tasting and all enjoyed it. My complaint is with the cost of the wine pairing! Seven course tasting-$225; what I was expecting, however “reserve tasting” - $345! One would expect that to simply be an additional $125 addition for wine which would be reasonable. No, it’s $345 just for wine and it’s not over the top high end wines! So for $225 food, or $670 for food and wine, and that’s for one. My fault for not clarifying, but I would highly recommend against it. Wish I had ordered a really nice bottle instead.

Was very underwhelmed by the experience at Press. Apps started off well, but our halibut was very overcooked and the American wagyu had nothing to it. The timing of the coursing was off and our group felt the service was awkward… almost like they were all in training. For a restaurant of this caliber and price point, expected a lot better.

Press impressed! The food was outstanding and the customer service was right up there with the best of any restaurant I have been into. It was a lively environment, too, creating a great dining atmosphere.
They recently opened a bakery right next door called Under Study that we visited and it was great, too.

Food was Devine. OMG it was so delicious. Wine was fantastic. Please add more wine by the glass options. Halle was so kind and generous. Mark was helpful. Gorgeous space, fantastic atmosphere. Great dinner to end our vacation in Napa
We came here to celebrate a special occasion in our family, and everything from the service to the ambiance to the amazing food and wine made it a truly unforgettable evening. The 7-course tasting menu highlighted all things local and seasonal and was beautifully prepared and presented. I especially appreciated the care that went into the vegetarian tasting menu to ensure it was every bit as delicious, beautiful, and creative as the regular tasting menu. The maitake mushrooms were definitely a highlight, and the coconut cremeux was hands down the best dessert I have ever had. Special shout outs to the chef, our server Steven, and GM Rachel for going above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. I look forward to returning!

Outstanding food and service. Michelin-starred restaurants tend to be fussy, but not Press. This place is the real deal and offers an amazing food and service experience without pretentiousness. Portions were just right and well balanced - a creative menu without being fetishistic. We were a party of ten which made the presentations fun and dynamic. This place is a hidden gem and you should go before it's impossible to get in.

While I appreciated the sommelier and the wine, the food flavors are not Michelin star caliber. The cocktail was also a little to assertive for my palate. I could have visited on an off night tho!
