Elegant, unique, delicious. Worth every dollar. The service is exceptional- professional, timely, attentive. Pleasant dining experience with truly inspired dishes. We have had excellent meals around the world and Press in Mt. Helena is one of the best meals we have enjoyed.

Super detailed, decadent and delicious. Went to Press just outside downtown Yountville on Easter and seated In a beautiful airy indoor setting. The staff were "never-let-your water glass- get below half filled" attentive, friendly and ready to meet your every needs. Now the food: We chose the tasting menu and was not disappointed. We had certain ingredients (garlic, onions) that my wife had to temporarily remove from her diet. I imagine the chef was pulling his hair trying to accommodate. Press delivered with grace and aplomb. Although we had the same tasting menu, the chef created a special dish for my wife. While I had the "as designed" tasting menu. Eating at Press is a "foodie's " dream with just incredible taste in every bite. The cost is also spectacularly high. Eating here is that rare treat everyone should experience. Save up.

Came here to celebrate my birthday. The service was great, the food was great, and the wine was great. My favorite item was the pig ears! Sounds a bit strange, but they were amazing. Great flavor.

We dined here shortly after they received their Michelin star, our server Roberto was incredible, and frankly the star of the show. The best dish we had was the Caviar Pretzel, though all the courses were very good. We were very excited about the wine program, which ended up being our least favorite part of the experience; it was just slower than we were expecting (resulting in some ordering cocktails), it was typically more than 15 minutes after we ordered a bottle through the sommelier before it reached the table...The Caviar Pretzel, Tour of the Wine Room, and Roberto were the real highlights of this visit!

Great food and atmosphere! Love the high ceilings and the giant fireplace. Did not love the fact that we were seated closest to the front door. So every time the door opened and closed, cold air would blow onto our table. It definitely detracted from the experience substantially. We asked to be moved and the restaurant was not able to accommodate. We did the 5 course tasting menu for $160 pp. My first 3 courses were amazing - absolutely loved the abalone with flowering wasabi and spring pea panna cotta. Was disappointed in the 21 day aged rib eye with $25 supplement. It didn't come out very hot, so I could already see the fat marbling cooling. It was a bit chewier than I would have preferred for medium rare.

Just finished an amazing anniversary dinner at Press. Jon and Roberto were our main servers and were both amazing and attentive. The staff running food from the kitchen were also a joy to learn from about each course. The food was as much a feast for the eyes as it was to taste. Our server Jon made the perfect wine pairing for us. It was an amazing meal to celebrate our love of food and each other. Thank you, Press!!Vegetarian options: While we did not taste the vegetarian options for every couse they do offer vegetarian items throughout.Parking: Very easy to park.Wheelchair accessibility: Very accessible establishment

We have had many wonderful meals over the years including chef menus from highly rated restaurants. We visit Napa Valley often but this was the first time we dined at PRESS. This was probably the best overall experience we have ever had. Our server even walked us to the door when we were finished with our meal…something you would experience at someone’s home. We were so impressed that we cannot wait to return.

My husband and I had the pleasure of dining at PRESS, and it was one of the most exceptional meals we've ever had. We ordered the tasting menu with the beverage pairing, and each and every course was thoughtful, delicious, and perfectly paired. Our waiter was not only attentive, but hilarious, and we also had the pleasure of meeting the manager, JC, who cared deeply about our experience. Knowing that we had just completed a wine certification course we'd been studying for for about six months, JC surprised us with a complimentary champagne for me and a cocktail for my husband so we could take a moment to celebrate before beginning our meal. The meal itself was exceptional. 9 courses, with so many standouts. To name a few, we loved the canapés, the salmon skin with caviar, the celery root soup, and the most delicious ricotta gnudi with white truffles, and of course, the scallop / lobster course. (The lobster is the optional add-on to the scallop course, so I ordered that so we could each try both.) We also had the absolute pleasure of meeting Christopher, our Sommelier, who walked us through each pairing and indulged even the nerdiest of our wine questions. One of our great delights in this pairing was the sake course, and we were also very pleasantly surprised with a beer pairing. This pairing is a refreshing and creative take on a traditional wine pairing, and it absolutely elevated our meal. PRESS is a beautiful space, and turned out to be the perfect place for us to celebrate a milestone in our ongoing wine education journey. Gorgeous meal. Incredible staff. Heartfelt thank you to JC, to our waiter, to Christopher the talented Somm and to the entire staff for a meal we won't forget. We'll be back as soon as we can get up to Napa again soon.

Came with a group of wine enthusiats and we were really looking forward to a good experience. The best part was the place - beautifully set and ambiance was great especially for a Wednesday night. The worst was the service- far from a Michelin experience and outright unprofessional. Took them a while to take our wine order and our bottles arrived completely out of sync with food. We didn't have our first glass of white until our second course. Food was rushed and courses came out too quickly one following the other. We didn't even finish half our wine when dessert was served. Two of us have ciliac disease and our waiter wrote that down in his notebook when we ordered. But when my beef tartar dish came it had wheat puffs with it that I'm glad I questioned because I'd have been very sick if I ate them. The food itself was underwhelming. Wine was way overpriced and it was difficult to find bottles below $1000. I've dined at many Michelin starred restaurants and this is as disappointed as I've ever been.
