Sorry - this place has now closed, which is sad because they had excellent food. We would stop there when in the Napa area.

Post-covid rebirth of the Roadhouse. Our first outing in the reopening of California! We came for the prize fixe with wine flight and we were NOT disappointed. We arrived as the only guests on a Friday afternoon and treated like royalty. On top of that the food was outstanding. I could have made a meal of the beets and smoked salmon. The salmon was perfectly smoky, sweet, salty and smooth. Bavette steak was tender, tasty, and done perfectly to a nice rare center. Bonus pile of salt on the side for we who are lucky to be able to eat all the salt we want. The strawberry tart was one of those desserts you eat in teeny bites because it is packed with flavor. We had the wine flight from Freemark Abbey. We were in cool shade outdoors near the waterfall. We had the bonus of having a visit with Chef Paul, who gave a great presentation and explanation of locally sourced and house prepared food. All the wait staff wore their masks, as we did until time to eat and drink. Hand sanitizer was available too. We will return.

I don't know where to start with how wonderful this place is. This venue and the staff are absolutely amazing here. This was our wedding venue and we couldn't have imagined getting married anywhere else. From the moment we met Linda and Nick they treated us as if we were their only clients (even though they were juggling a ton of other events) and made us feel so special and welcomed. They worked with us on every detail, customizing the menu as much as we wanted and working with our wedding planner on layout, decor, and other items. They were so warm and made everything so easy and stress free. By the end of our wedding, we felt like they were family and were so appreciative of all that they did for us. Our guests raved about the food at our wedding, which was very important for us. The chef even met with us and made sure that we could customize the food based on our respective cultures and it came out amazing! He recreated some of our traditional family dishes and our guests were blown away. This was the first venue we walked into when looking for our wedding venue, and when we walked in, we immediately knew that we didn't need to see any other venues and this was the place for us to get married. That was the best decision we made, and feel so lucky that this the place and the people were part of such a big event in our lives. Do yourself a favor and pay this place a visit, I would highly recommend it to everyone!

the food and service were so good, we could not believe the place wasn't packed. every dish was great. yes, the pork tacos are small , but, during happy hour, were only $1.50 each. cheaper than burger tacos at taco bell ,each ,and so good. a chicken slider and the fries were enough to get stuffed with. the wontons were great too. shared, we still had some to take home with the great pimento sauce. as locals, we will definatly return again. a great place with not only great service, but great musical selections. wish i could give 6 stars. superb service. forget the no tip rule. during happy hour, easy to give a 100% gift, instead of a tip, please. the food is over half off, during that time, so it's easy to give to the deserving. well worth it. try a 100% tip. guaranteed to make u feel, rich.

I understand that taste in food is personal preference but certain things should never be tolerated-- like food that is cold and rubbery. My husband and I were excited to try this place since the reviews were strong. However, I would say it was average at best. I ordered the brisket-- it arrived cold and dry. It tasted like deli meat. My husband ordered the pork shoulder that tasted like it could have been a packaged meal from Pavilions. The plus was that the service was good. The staff was very polite and attentive. We really wish we could have liked it more. Unfortunately, we probably will never return.

Such good BBQ! The ribs, brisket and pulled pork are delicious. The ribs are so tasty they don't need sauce and they fall off the bone. We had some sides as well and they were all excellent too. Cool decor and atmosphere. Would highly recommend this place for a casual lunch or dinner in wine country.

Food and service were excellent. Fresh and local cuisine. The live music was top notch which went well with the ambiance and added to the dining experience.

Satisfactory, Not Great but Not Bad. Tip including in pay is a nice change. Food portions might be a little small for some.

We were on a small wine tour and scheduled to have lunch at a place down the road. When we pulled into the original spot it was packed so our guide told us to trust him and took us here instead. We lucked out! The atmosphere is inviting and the food was just what we needed to offset the tour activities (if you know what I mean LOL). We all pretty much ordered the standard burgers and fries and cleaned our plates. Thanks for accommodating our group at the last minute and putting up with our merriment!

You can drive past easily, but we decided to stop in here, and it was well worth it!! Delicious burger, great service, and got lots of helpful information about local wineries to visit!! Will definitely be back!!

Leslie Sobrocco had this restaurant featured on her show that covered places in Napa Valley and we decided to make this a stop since it was a nice warm day. This is a beautiful casual restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. During lunch, you order at the corner of the bar, they give you a number and you find a seat in the restaurant. We decided to sit outside on the side that faces the road. It got pretty loud with the cars constantly buzzing by - it is quieter on the side of the restaurant that faces the parking lot. They specialize in BBQ items but this trip we decided to go lighter since we were making another stop in Yountville. We ordered: - Special tuna tacos - 2 beautifully cooked delicious fresh tacos $10- - Large kale salad $12 - just a little bitter but still tasted good - Fries - crispy and hot with ranch dressing! $7 Another cool thing about this place is that the corkage is complimentary. We stopped off at Whitehall Lane and grabbed some chilled wine and brought it with us and they graciously offered to open it and give us glasses. This is a no tipping restaurant and they state that their prices include a percentage to provide the kitchen staff as well as the servers a guaranteed true living wage. That was nice to see . We did ask the person who rang our order up if we can include a tip and he politely said they dont accept tips - we left one anyway on the table when we left. If you want a casual meal on a nice day or even a not so nice day, give this a try.

First of all, you have to order at the bar, then go go pick out a table.

I would not return, the burger and cheese were burnt outside, fairly rare inside and bottom bun was wet! ($14) severed with a huge side of sweet pickles? My husbands ribeye sandwhich had no texture ($17) how is that even possible, everything is ala cart 10oz Canada Dry ginger ale & 12oz coke $6.00, 1 basket of delicious fries $4.00 (?) were the best thing we had to eat. You grab a menu on the way in, order at the counter, find a place to sit and they bring the order out...no real service. We were here at lunch time. *I wish I had removed the bun or cut in half the burger for the picture.

We ate lunch during a non busy time and it was just ok. I had the French Dip and it tasted good but was small plus did not come with enough au jus sauce. I tasted the BBQ sauces and they were good but the menu did not offer traditional BBQ except for the ribbs. The slaw was good served with the French Dip.. Others had salads that they thought were just ok but small. Nice place and setting.
