Cheap and affordable winery
You can come here to choose and try drinks
The scenery is also beautiful
The garden buildings inside are great for taking pictures
A very warm welcome and a superb tasting of very good wines.
I came here on a friend's recommendation and discovered a hidden gem with possibly the cheapest tasting fees around! The outdoor seating option includes pairs of Adirondack chairs with shade umbrellas, perfect for relaxing on a sunny day. Sweet wines are my jam (pun intended), and although I picked the $15 Founder's Flight, Binniee let me switch out the two dry wines on that list for sweeter ones. All five that I tried were a hit, and I bought several bottles to take home. (Bottle prices are also incredibly reasonable.)
Citlali was an amazing host today! Our tastings were so much fun and we were able to have them out on the patio. Really felt welcome and almost like family!
The space is small but tastings are max $15. But the best is that they have alcohol free wine tasting for $15!
Wonderful sparkling wine and beautiful grounds.
I’ve been a member with Sutter for over 10 years. A great place for whites & reds. I bring a lot of my family and friends who are visiting from overseas to Napa for wine tasting. The staff is friendly and their prices are some of the best in the Napa region.Sutter Home has very good moscatos and other sweeter white wines. Some of my favorites are the Muscat of Alexandria, Pink Moscato Bubbly and Reserve White Zinfandel. One of my all time favorites was a limited production of their brandy, which hasn’t been available for a while (but I heard it may be coming back). They produce it for their port, but I’m hoping they can bring it back soon, because it was that good.
Pretty good experience, easy to book on weekend and you get to taste 4 or 5 wines in 10 bucks with less crowd and good wines!
There new motto should be we are open but don't want to work. I have been to sutter house a few times before for context. Walked in 3pm on a weekday and magically no cars in the lot and they have no tastings. Feedback from staff were our website is outdated and no more walk ins are accepted. They had 5 staff and no one in there. I laughed and got a bottle of their wine from Walmart instead.
One of the rare gems. Look them up online on the comp wine. Do not miss white Zinfandel

Great deals on the wonderful selection they have in store.
I'm a Napa valley local and I'm disgusted and ashamed that the family who runs Sutter home uses methamphetamines!!
The garden is pretty.
Most wines have a strong sweet taste, so it wasn't my preferred taste.
Wine, not my style. White Jinfindel was unique, but I don't think I'll get it often.
Surprisingly, Cabernet Sauvignon was the most drinkable.
