Recap: Avoid going here; my recommendation is going to Napa Valley Coffee Roasting Company instead. We came here for three consecutive days during our last trip to the Napa Valley, and all three days they 'forgot' something in our order; an avocado toast, a sandwich, a coffee. We all make mistakes, but when we tried to ask where these items were all three days we were intentionally ignored. The staff all seem frustrated with the customers the entire time. I'm sorry that we're all such an inconvenience.

The famous english muffins. We ordered them both in sandwich format and with jam. The sandwich format flattens the muffins, so get them with jam if you want the fluffiness. It's delicious english muffin, but we think it's cuz they fry the exterior to get that crisp. I was disappointed in the croissant. It was hard and stale the next day. Surprisingly, it wasn't crowded on a Saturday around lunch time. We were able to get a table inside the restaurant no problem.

We were excited to return to Model Bakery after our last experience in Napa at the Oxbow location. This particular location was a much worse experience. The service was terrible. We ordered on the web to speed things up like we had done at the other location numerous times. When we walked in there was a sign on top of the espresso machine saying to pick up online orders at the bar. What bar? There is a cashier area and a pickup area at the end of the espresso machine. I waited a good five plus minutes where everyone else was picking up their in store orders. The employee working that area was completely ignoring me. I was glaring at him trying to get his attention but as soon as he would almost look in my direction he would purposely look away. He would call out orders and immediately hand them out to people and immediately go back to looking away from me. I finally had to almost be rude and say hey! I asked him where to pick up my order and he said to pick it up there and gesture towards the the girl behind the espresso machine. She was not tall. She cannot be seen over the espresso machine. There's a very small gap at the end of the espresso machine that I had to peek through to get her attention. Definitely not a bar. She pulled my order from a shelf behind her. My food had been waiting and getting somewhat cold. I do not understand this system and it makes for a crappy experience. That was the first and last time at this location.

I ordered ahead. The food was take out and it just wasn't worth it.The hash browns were reminiscent of McDonald's but super dry and they didn't give any ketchup. The biscuit breakfast sandwich was on the dry side.Unfortunately, my 3-year-old who eats homemade biscuits barely nibbled on it.Parking: Street parking on a semi-busy road.Wheelchair accessibility: You can get through the doorways, but it's a little crowded to maneuver.

Cookies were great. Baked goods were okay. Latte was missing the flavor syrup for the coffee was missing or just not hitting the mark. The man who rung us up was very curt and not that friendly. He seemed very annoyed we were ordering. The other females workers seemed very pleasant and friendly thoThe bakery had nice seating. Ambiance- Food- Service-

I was able to visit a few weeks ago on a rainy day in Helena in between wine tastings. I ordered the strawberry lemonade and a breakfast sandwich. Seating was limited but I was able to snag a table. Would recommend to anyone visiting Napa valley.

Their English muffins are to die for. Went there every morning of my last trip there. Even bought a 6 pack to take home. They are from heaven.

Nice and tasty English muffins, however that's the only positive about this place. Wife ordered to go online for the English muffins. We went to the register asking to pick up the order, instructed to go to the bar area. We literally stand there for a good 3 mins, the two people in the bar area failed to acknowledge us at all. Finally my wife said "excuse me" and they finally helped her but gave the attitude that they didn't want to be bothered and made us feel like why you are here?Your baked goods are good but the customer service was just terrible

Ever think that English Muffins are all the same? Well, they are NOT!! Do you want the best English muffins you have ever tasted?? Come to The Model Bakery!! When we're passing by the Saint Helena area, we make sure to stop by and grab a 6 pack of their famous English Muffins. They make for an awesome breakfast back at home. They are a bit messy, but in my opinion, messy is good haha. The service here is always great. The ladies working are always happy to answer any questions. The time we went here, my daughter wanted to try out their Croissantwich with Willie Bird Turkey Bacon. She really enjoyed the sandwich. The Turkey Bacon smelled really good and was not the ordinary turkey bacon you get at a typical grocery store. I sadly didn't get a chance to take a picture of the English muffins because we finished it before I even thought about it haha. But when you're around the Napa area, make a stop here and try all their stuff! But don't leave without a bag of their English Muffins!

Model has been around forever, and they continue to turn out tasty cookies and pastry, and their pizza is just right-- perfect, chewy crust and just the right amount of sauce and cheese. My favorite stop in St. Helena.

The food is great. We ordered some almond macaroons for a Danish Christmas treat and they were huge. I also had their Veggie pizza slice that was as great as well. Friendly staff.
