Scenario: We arrived 30 minutes early to our reservation and were given a private room in the back. An hour into our dinner we were told they gave us the wrong table and that the table originally reserved for 7:00pm arrived 30 minutes late and they need the room. Our room was confirmed by Scott and Haidi. We were given specific information that we would have the private room. We even knew that the room is only booked for one party a night. We would not know that information if we did not have a discussion with Scott and Haidi. We were not given any choice but that we needed to move to a different area to accommodate a larger table, regardless of the fact that we did nothing wrong. The situation was extremely mishandled. 1. The waitress and staff took no ownership of the situation. All we kept hearing was I'm sorry but Haidi double booked us and I can call Haidi. 2. The way we were treated is that our party was not as important as the other. 3. We were even blamed for this miscommunication. They said "we asked you if you are the birthday party, and you said yes". This was true as we are taking our yearly trip to celebrate 3 birthdays. 4. The waitress said we can give you free birthday dessert. This does not fix the situation. We don't want free dessert, we want to be treated like our party is just as important as another party. 5. Food took extremely long to get. We order appetizers and it has taken longer than 30 min to arrive. Our dinner order has yet to arrive. 6. When food arrived food it was not prepared as we ordered. Items, (spinach), did not come out. Basic drinks (soda) were forgotten. This could have been handled much differently. There was service breakdown across the board. Not once did a manager approach us to help mitigate the situation. When we reached out to Scott and Haidi we never received a response. Where was the leadership? **UPDATE** Owner reached out and was able to make it right.

Beautiful atmosphere in downtown St. Helena. The owner Heidi was very friendly and welcoming, she not only recommended a really great wine flight they were featuring, but was also helpful in navigating the town for our stay (recommending a few places that are more touristy, and some places where the locals enjoy a night out). Can't recommend The Saint enough!

The food we ordered was delicious and delightful. The French style pork chop was out of this world. Two bone ribs and cooked to perfection along with sweet potato puree and other tasty fill ins. The wine list is outstanding, and I highly recommend having a peek. Lastly, but not least, our server Kim was attentive, friendly, and professional. Looking forward to our next visit.

What a fantastic local find! An edgy, elegant tasting room, plus a lot more, even full dinner service from Market restaurant next door. Met the owners Heidi and Scott who seem super involved. It's like being hosted in their living room! Come for the ambience, stay for the great wines, and local music scene too. Terrific, friendly wine bar with a neighborhood vibe that offers a wine selection sure to please both locals and tourists. The ambience is St Helena historic with a modern twist, there's live music on the weekends and near-monthly special events. The cheese-and-charcuterie platter is a must, and the house-made desserts are divine. Keep in mind this is not a restaurant--a cooperative situation with Market next door allows access to the latter's menu. The incredibly helpful staff and hands-on owners make this place truly special.
Favorite spot in Napa. The joy of this hip wine bar is that it is much more than that. From great charcuterie boards to a hand curated wine collection of boutique wines you otherwise might not get to try, I love this place on every level. The service is always delightfully friendly. The ambiance from the glowing candles reflecting off of the stone walls to the incredibly unique “vault” private dining table makes for a wonderful experience. This place is great for a romantic date or larger groups. From wines, to bites to full meals, they have it all. The music is always upbeat yet not overpowering so you can enjoy time conversing with friends while still having the great music in the background. If you're lucky to catch nights where they have live entertainment, even better. I'm particularly fond of The Night - Cabernet yet have enjoyed many of their local boutique selections. Honestly, time at The Saint is a lot more enjoyable (and by far more cost efficient) than going to wineries. They have already done the work for you, and found great wines- just stop in and they will help guide you through an afternoon or evening of wine and food. Enjoy -

Disappointed, discriminated , bad organizationWe were coming far away, and were so excited to celebrate the new year, when we come over to the place they didn’t have our table ready, so we when back to the hotel so disappointed!! Bad services !!! It was a private event only by reservation, there was my name, but they didn’t have my table., when I gave my name at the entrance it was like oook (apparently not many Latinos attend this type of event) they blamed the website that oversold the tickets., I was supposed to celebrate the end of the year, they ruined my night! Of course they returned my money, but they wanted to assign a dirty table! And the hallway??♂️
