The tasting room is under renovation so all tastings happened in the market in a makeshift trailer, which we got to through a maze of mud and construction. Wine was just ok - nothing really standout and our server told us nothing about the wines. The Madeira, their highlight, was too buttery. Would recommend Louis Martini across the road for a better ambiance and wine or honestly, any other tasting room in the area. Really subpar experience all in all.

Fun and friendly staff! Fantastic wine! We were in the area for only 3 days and we came here twice. Beautiful buildings and grounds, even during the renovation.

Beautiful property, but our wine guy who poured our wine told us nothing about the wine

We had a wonderful time at V. Sattui! The people and staff were friendly and inviting and made us feel like part of the family. Great wine, great atmosphere. Will definitely be coming back!

I used to love V. Sattui Winery, but my recent visit left me disappointed. The service felt disjointed, and the lack of basic hospitality was surprising.

When we arrived, we requested to sit at a table with some sunlight–it was a windy, chilly day. A table was available, but our server, Sara, declined, stating, “but that table isn’t mine.” It was an odd, unhelpful response that made it clear there was no teamwork among the staff.

Throughout our visit, Sara was often at the adjacent table, seldom attending to us, and provided minimal explanations about the wines. The final disappointment came when we asked another server–who was just standing nearby–to take our picture during Sara’s absence, he responded, “who is your server? Ask them,” which felt unprofessional, and yet another bizarre response.

I brought my dog along since the winery is dog-friendly, but I was pretty alarmed to find two pieces of broken glass right by our table. My dog could’ve easily stepped on them if I hadn’t noticed in time. That’s a serious safety issue.

This place used to be a favorite, and I had already pre-booked another visit in two weeks. Now, I’m seriously reconsidering.

Amazing Customer Service Experience. I placed an order last Friday to take advantage of a promotion. On Tuesday, there still was no tracking information, so I reached out to V. Sattui to check, as part of my order was for a gift that I needed this weekend.

The Shipping Department researched my order and saw that it was not scheduled to be delivered until Sunday and knowing that I needed the order for a gift, they express shipped a 2nd order to deliver today.

Kudos to the Shipping Department at V. Sattui for going the extra mile in delivering exceptional Customer Service.

Also, Kudos to V. Sattui's Company Culture that provided the empowerment to their Shipping Department in providing this level of service.

Cute place. Make sure to stop by and pick some cheese pieces from their gift shop

Worth getting a few bottles of wine and sitting outside to enjoy the view instead of wine tasting inside the shop while standing up

Out of all the wineries in the Napa area, skip this one. We made reservations at nicer wineries (where the total bill was no more than $50 more- including charcuterie) and drove around for some last minute tastings and this is the ONLY winery that had us pay in advance- now I understand why, because had we not I would’ve left the second we sat down. They DO NOT allow food with your tasting, despite the market on property. They reuse the same glass for each wine taste, when asking for a new glass going from a Cabernet to a Chardonnay, the response was ‘it doesn’t make a difference’. The glasses weren’t buffed so you could see lovely kisses from the lipgloss of the taster before you and when we got there they tried to have us do the indoor tasting when we paid extra for outdoor. Once outdoor we were told we could only sit in one area when we were one of the only 3 tables in the place on a slow Monday afternoon. We did eventually get the okay to move to a different table from someone that wasn’t our server but my questions is, why is this vineyards favorite word ‘no’ ? Also keep in mind, this isn’t a traditional tasting- all other tasting hosts we had at other and far smaller wineries had extensive knowledge on the wine and its origin, here she read the description provided on the menu and came back every 15 minutes or so between wine changes. SO disappointed.

We had a great needful tasting experience, and left with lots of wine! Bart was an exceptional wine and expert and helped us navigate the menu according to our tastes. We will be back. :)

Hands down the best winery we visited on our trip to the Napa area. Mike assisted us with our tasting, he was knowledgeable and very personable and made the tasting a great experience. We were seated right next to the vineyard and had a wonderful view. There was not one wine we did not like, and we ended up having several bottles shipped as well as taking some with us right there. I highly recommend V. Sattui Winery just make sure to leave yourself a lot of time as they have plenty of different types of wines to try.

Such a dump, it's like a construction site now, don't even consider stopping here even by mistake

Wines were good, but experience was disappointing. We booked this place because it was recommended for people with children. The options were “premiere” indoor or outdoor under a tent. We booked indoor as the weather predicted rain. Well, we got there and it was very cool with an olive grove and we saw ample seating in the outdoor tent. The place is under construction. We did not know and were led to a TRAILER! The indoor “premiere” tasting was in a trailer. The website said you don’t need to bring any food we have it all. So we were telling our son that he can have pizza. Well we get to the trailer and are told food is done for the day (at 4pm) and there is only a bar for the tasting no seating. Probably because we are in a trailer…. Such a disappointing experience. I would never had paid $45 per person or brought my child there to hold at the bar the whole tasting. We just felt like cattle tasting our wine and being rushed out. We were hoping to have a leisurely time to drink our wine and hang out. Overall pretty disappointing experience. At least the wine tasted good.

Environment is okay wine is not bad, but the guy in the front is just so rude. We are a party of 5 and wanted to borrow their umbrella for just one minute and this guy is like, no you can’t there are for the wine tasting group. I mean we could be wine tasting group but if you say that we won’t be :) don’t even mention his whole negativity for just my 2 questions asking where the main tasting room is lol
