What a wonderful day at a winery! I planned a trip to Napa on a cruise excursion day, and with the limited time we had we could only visit one winery. I am so glad we picked V. Sattui. The grounds are beautiful and Jacob, our wine/tour host, was incredible. He patiently answered all of our questions (we had quite a few) and he is extremely funny. We thoroughly enjoyed our wine tasting. He had great recommendations and suggestions. Our group had vastly different wine palates, and yet everyone found something they liked. We were there on a Monday, so it was not busy at all. We could take our time with the tasting and explore the grounds. They have a deli, and I am mad we didn't partake in it as we already had plans to eat elsewhere. But, we did do some shopping in the store area. I have already recommended this place to my friends and if I am ever back in Napa Valley, I will come here again.

Warm, friendly, and nice view of a winery.Check their shop: many varieties of cheeses, snacks, and lovely stuff such as local soap.

This was me and my significant other's first time here at V. Sattui and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. As we arrived, we were greeted with a polite young gentleman who checked us in from the reservation I booked online. With a welcoming aura, he asked us if we were celebrating and from there I explained that it was my significant others birthday as well as her first wine tasting experience. As he finished checking us in, he offered us some of their signature chocolates which were free of charge and of course very delicious. We were seated in the barrel room, in which the other young gentleman who took care of us that afternoon gave us their list of wines to taste. We got to try some of their wines all of which are exclusively sold from their winery. Overall, a great experience and a fine atmosphere, with friendly staff, and a diverse selection of exquisite wine.

There are mainly two options: wine flight tasting with reservation (~50$) which seems expensive, or buy a bottle (~38$) and food at the market on place and do a picnic with the nice scenery. The market is great and all the food we took was very delicious. It can be pretty crowded however.

V. Sattui Winery exceeded all expectations. Upon our friend's glowing recommendation, we joined their membership. The reservation process for tasting was seamless, and opting for the standing area, offering both comfort and ample space to enjoy the experience. The staff's expertise was evident as they guided us through their impressive selection of wines, allowing us to savor each sip without feeling hurried. We left with a few bottles in hand, grateful for the delightful memories and looking forward to future visits. Our experience at this Winery was great overall, however, one staff member, Oscar, lacked people skills and wasn’t knowledgeable. Thankfully, another staff, Adam, stepped in and provided exceptional service, making our visit memorable.

Nice wines and picnic area.

I love this place. They were absolutely crowded, but you wouldn't know how high the level of service was. I've been mail ordering the wine for years.

Tourist trap, we have done many tastings in Napa valley and V. Sattui was light years behind any of the others we’ve been to. The wine was only ok for the price you pay for a tasting. During the tasting we never felt like they wanted us to be there. After our third pour our host told us we were done. I stated we had 2 more since we’d paid for 5 pours. He argued that we had already had all five. He ended up bringing us one more and was quite rude about it. We decided it wasn’t worth the trouble and left. We will be taking our business elsewhere in the future and recommend you do the same.

This was my first time in Napa, and I wanted to love this place, but I cannot. My party and I were in town for my bachelorette trip. It was 6 of us total. We did a wine tasting where you had one hour to try 5 wines. Our first server was a younger woman and she was very nice and helpful. I enjoyed her recommendations. Somewhere about 30 minutes in, our server had to go on break and was replaced with an older gentleman who seemed very uninterested to be serving us. His pours were inconsistent among the group. Some of us got barely any while others got much more. We hadn't been keeping track of the time well so he alerted us that we had 15 minutes but were only on our 2nd or third pour. We had paid for this in advance so obviously we wanted to make sure we got our 5 tastings. We were by no means trying to stay longer than an hour so we were prepared to speed through our last few tastings. However, it was like he was purposefully avoiding us every time we tried to get his attention. You would think if you tell a table they have 15 minutes left to drink 3 more wines, you might have them on your radar when you're walking around helping guests. But he would just straight up ignore us. We would raise our hands, he would look, then turn away and help another table. We had to get the hostesses attention twice in order for her to let him know that we wanted our next pour. Napa is known for their wine, so I'm sure you could find another winery with good wine with much better service.

We paid for the regular tasting (which included 5 pours) then added on 2 additional pours of Cabernet. After 3 pours the sommelier brought out our Cabernet and told us that we had already had 5 other pours and argued with us when we told him we'd only had 3 pours. He gave us one more then kind of shooed us away. Nobody writes anything down so he was going based on memory while also waiting on several other tables. Just a chaotic, messy system for tasting. When he saw that we had paid for add ons it seemed like the he was annoyed with us. He definitely spent as little time as possible with us and we could barely hear anything he said because it was so loud. Also, the wine was really not that great compared to other wineries we've visited. We've done many tastings in Napa and this was the worst winery we've been too both for experience and wine quality. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME. Pros are their deli has paninis that were decent and they are dog friendly so we brought our pet along. We will not be going back.
