My wife and I had the best experience with Vineyard 29s chef, somm and guitarist Jimmy. The entire experience was first class and one of a kind. Can’t wait to visit again
A heaping dose of solitude served with fine wine and food makes vineyard 29 A must see on top of a Western hill Just north of Saint Helena.
Some of the best Napa Valley Cabernets in existence. Very elevated experience. Would recommend doing a wine tasting here for sure.
What defines an experience as being memorable is entirely dependent on the individual. However, add in a dash of good fortune and some great people and you've got a surefire memory that will last a lifetime. This combination is exactly what aligned for my experience with Vineyard 29. I made a reservation at the Napa location but accidentally went to the estate. By some stroke of luck, a car was leaving when we were heading up and we were able to get onto the premises even though the gate and property was closed.Long story short, the Director Ron Nicholsen invited us in for a private tasting experience instead of turning us away. He shared wines with us that were previously opened that day and even presented our party with some little charcuterie boards.Considering he could have easily turned us away, the fact that we were welcomed at the end of the day in such a warm manner truly resonates with us.Everything was top notch, from the service to the wine to the food to the grounds. Make sure you go to the right place because I am sure this was a happy accident but if you have the opportunity, absolutely make your way to Vineyard 29. You won't regret it.
Phenomenal service at our tasting, some of the best wines in the valley, and one of the most unique, interesting wineries in the area. Highly recommend!
We had bad experience at Vineyard 29 the person who gave us the tour was drunk for me that was very unprofessional in addition, he didn't know about the wines and gave us a boring and undesirable tour, the wine pairing was a huge waste of money the food was cold tasteless and with no flavor also it had nothing to do with the wines being served plus it tasted horrible. Vineyard 29 was a huge disappointment I would never go back.
Beautiful view and amazing facilities. The whole experience was top notch and our host JJ was knowledgeable and personable. We loved the wine and can’t wait to visit again!
Beautiful
This was the best tasting experience of the whole weekend! ...did 6 total... our sommelier Vickie was so knowledgeable and made the whole experience superb! On top, the wines were delicious... bought 6 bottles. The estate tasting with the food pairing was pricy but worth every penney!!
A passionate talk about elegant wine in a beautiful setting. Definitely recommend this to anyone looking for an amazing tasting experience.

Good wines and great facility
We attended a trade tasting a few years back and loved the property. We were running late and our host was very gracious. The wine is spectacular and the property is amazing.
We just did an essentials tasting with Nathan that was truly delightful. He walked us through the entire winemaking process and we were amazed with both the technology and the passion to produce the best wines possible involved. The tasting started with a Sauvignon Blanc and a Pinot Noir that I loved (and I am usually not a fan) and then continued with 3 cab savs and a cab franc that were paired with cheeses that brought out their best qualities. While the cost of the tasting was on the high end compared to the other places we went to, it was well worth it.
Beautiful place and facility and even more lovely people!
An amazing vineyard, tour and tasting room. The wine is sooooo good. Highly recommend.
