Next level wine, view, and experience, Meg was awesome!Single vineyard wines, hmm what was today's favorite was it the cabs? The Rose'? In my group it was half for the cabernet sauvignon and the other half The Rose' hard to decide! Fantastic single vineyard wines views on top of Spring Mountain near the Sonoma border looking at the Napa Valley below and Mt St Helena/Palisades across the other side. We went here with friends for a private tasting. The winery is at the top of Spring Mountain with breathtaking views. The view from the tasting room is breathtaking. At the center of the room is a large table in one piece of wood from Korea, which is more than 1000 kg. The setup for the tasting room is just WOW. Lexie was giving us the tour. She was awesome. They produce a Cabernet and a Chardonnay. We tried the Chardonnay and the 2012 and 2018 Cabernet. They have a small production of Rose as well. The Chardonnay is a wonderful wine with tropic flavors and a buttery finish. The oak flavors are well integrated. This is a fantastic wine for the next decade or two. The Cabernet 2018 is a great wine that you can drink today but also save for another 10+ years. The wine has berry flavors with well balanced tannins. This is a great wine for a board of cheeses. The 2012 is a bolder wine that you should drink with a serious piece of meat. It was a fantastic tour and wonderful wine. We just had to take home some wine.

For all the visits I've made to Anderson Valley, Dry Creek, Sonoma, Napa and the surrounding areas I have *never* driven up into any of the mountains such as Spring Mountain.The tastings are by appointment only, which means your group has a dedicated wine tasting experience. No sharing your host with other tables or groups. It's 100% focused on you.Whether it's your first visit to Northern California wine country or your 1,000th, I highly recommend giving Winery 7 and 8 a shot.

Fabulous wine and fabulous experience! We went to Vineyard 7&8 in Feb 2020. The views were magnificent, the wines were amazing, and everyone was super friendly. Prices are high, but the wine is worth it. We will be back!
Always a pleasure visiting this estate that sits on top of Spring Mountain. The views parallel the wine. Both are exquisite. It seems few wineries take as much time, precision and attention to detail as Vineyard 7 and 8 does. If you have the opportunity.... I highly suggest making an appointment for the tasting you will never forget

Wow! Simply amazing... Made an appointment and came to see what the buzz was all about. Our guide Julia met us outside with open arms. As we went inside, the Rotunda has the most amazing look and mountain view. Blown away from the start. After extensive learning about their winemaking techniques and their winemaker (Martha McClellan), we sat down for an incredible tasting of the Estate grown 2012, and 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon. Both were some of the best wines we've had. And we've had a lot. By the end, we just fell in love with Julia and her attitude. Can't wait to return. Thanks Julia for a great time!
