“I thought that the store was one of those run down stores, but was really delighted to try it out! $2.50 for a jelly-filled donut, which is the highest price of any single donut, was really worth it for my tight budget, even as a brief trip! If you need a quick and cheap breakfast, a drink and donut for around $5.00 is what to expect here! If someone of this store notices though, I could also prep up a new graphic icon for Salida Donuts! Just let me know. 😉“

“I stepped into Mocha Magic Cafe wearing my Golden Snitch earrings and necklace. Absolutely to celebrate and recognize any local business that Celebrated Harry Potter's Magic Birthday. The shop was charmingly quaint with friendly faces to greet me. Loved the shop ambiance. The Widow displaces were filled with delightful cookies,cupcakes and bagels. There was an extended Hot and Cold Beverage list I snatched a Chocolate peanut butter snitch, that was decadent and delicious. I ordered two other cookies, An Apricot and Chocolate filled. And a Farmers Breakfast Begals. My choice of Begals. I ordered a puffy Crispy Cheese Begal that was displayed. Much to my disappointment, The sandwich I received was very flat. With a thin mayonnaise dressing coming through. I only received the apricot filled cookie the other was a chocolate with white chocolate chips. I took pictures but Was unable to post on this form. Look I loved the place, with all a Charm and friendly hosts a customer would want. But for me the sandwich was a miss. My house Coffee was amazing. And I'll definitely be back for that along.“

“I have made portuguese sweetbread for many years, due to my age,I purchased two loaves of sweetbread for New Years to have with portuguese pickled pork. “Pan dulce is great and delicious! We usually comes to buy pan dulce at this time 8:20 pm but today was the second day that we came in and was almost empty. I don’t know if the employees don’t make enough on their shifts and they try to sell what they have in order to make more. or if they have an specific time to have more pan dulce.“

“My sister and I were driving off the 99 when we spotted a billboard for Cupcake Boutique and decided to check it out. We’re so glad we did! From the moment we walked in, the service was amazing. The young lady who helped us was incredibly friendly, answered all of our questions, and truly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.

We tried the Velvet cupcake and it was absolutely delicious—super moist with a light, whipped cream-like topping that was just the right amount of sweet. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful.

“Never been inside, only ordered for delivery, but I’m obsessed with the Herb Turkey (I take out the cucumbers and pickles). Their BLTCC is good too. We love the sourdough bagel, but DONT try the garlic bagel. They brush minced garlic on the outside of the it, and it gets completely black and burnt, and it’s so gross. Other than that, we’ve tried a few things that were all yummy.“

As for the food, they always provide delicious salsas and toppings to go with it. The tortillería also sells queso fresco, which is perfect to enjoy with a hot, fresh tortilla. Highly recommend!“

“Cute little shop.It was empty I didn't even know they were open. The sign was off but they were open. They had good a selection and good prices. The only thing was everything was day old. The lady said everything for today was baked yesterday. That's always a big disappointment if I can't get fresh warm bread from a bakery. I got a chocolate croissant hoping it'd still be soft from yesterday, sadly it was not. The Bavarian bun was ok but didn't taste fresh. I popped it in the air fryer and it was really good. I bet they taste amazing fresh out of the oven. Really good price for those buns. Might go back for those.“

“After being turned away from the place I normally order my cakes I had 1.5 days to find a place who would put my plastic animals on my cake. I think most bakeries now days will only make a cake in their book. I was so relieved to find a friendly bakery who wanted to make my cake. I ordered a camping in the mountains theme cake and brought in some plastic woodland animals, trees, and camping lanterns, etc. This cake was better than any images I found on the internet. The sides of the cake had mountain ranges with grass and trees. I was so happy I took lots of pictures of it in front of a backdrop I bought for my kids party. The cake also tasted great, not too sweet. So moist and yummy.“

I haven’t had anything that I didn’t like or wouldn’t re-order from this local Family Owned establishment! I think one of the most amazing things is trying to describe the flavors of the different spices that aren’t used and typical ““ American cuisine. I found this in my travels to other cultures with other foods where you ask the person to describe the flavor, and they can’t. They are at a loss for words. And so am I?
