Went with my friends last night. We decided to order the tri tip family meal which clearly states on menu comes with 4 sides & bread. The waitress showed us the list of side we could choose. We choose two salads, mac n cheese, & pasta salad. My friends ordered a beer each while we waited. The food came out fairly quick & everything was really good except my friends were still waiting on their beers. When we got the bill we noticed that it was higher than what was priced on the menu by $4. When we inquired was told salad sides were $1 extra each & the other sides were like .50c each. We’re like so what sides were we supposed to choose from that was “included with meal” told that was them but was extra also. Like what?? Owner said was stated on menu at bottom somewhere but none of us saw it. The waitress said she’d bring over the menu to show us. We waited another 10min but she never came back with the menu. It wasn’t like they were busy we were only other group there at the time. So we just paid & left. Also those beers that were ordered didn’t show up till the end of the meal. So we told them it too late for those & sent them back. I went on there site today to look at the menu they have online which is older & no where on there does it state extra charges for salad sides or any sides. We paid cash too so there wasn’t a fee for using credit. Be wary.. I’m seeing posts about a lot of establishments that are sneaking in “fake fees” so the server can collect bigger tips. I’m not sure this is the case because we never saw the menu again to be shown the disclaimer. When you see the word INCLUDED though on a meal description that means that’s the price it’ll be. Not sure I’ll be going back there again.

Placed messed up our order twice. They had a soccer team full of kids & parents that night, but I mean come on, we wanted to eat inside, yet they bagged up our food. Felt discriminatory

I've been here several times and honestly it's a hit or miss on the chicken but now they are giving you 1/8 chicken not 1/4!! I didn't alter this in any way, but this was pretty much just a wing!

The Owner's Son is a super great guy. Very good service and food here. Worth any travel distance to try them out. I come 100 miles to eat here.

Was shopping in the plaza and had to pee really bad. I went inside this restaurant since most are generally fine with people peeing. I walked in and asked the only person in the bar if i could use the restroom first before i even looked at a menu: and with a frustrated tone in his voice and a look of anger he told me “ that i had to spend at least 5$ min to use the bathroom. I Woulda prob ate here too if it wasnt for the attitude i just left and pissed on the building in the back alley way. No wonder the place was empty.

This guy knows barbecue! Had the best tritip ever and best service ever at this sports bar type restaurant in Prunedale. Local family owned and run. Beef and sausage from Freedom Meat Locker. Prepped right at 101 Wine Press. Also has outdoor seating.
