Very good! The red chilaquiles, I dare say are the best I've tried in Monterey County and would easily put them up to comparison with the ones I tried in Mexico. I also had the chorizo omelet and the ratio of eggs to ingredients was perfect. My only complain is cut the bell peppers thinner. The canela coffee was amazing. I can't speak about the other food in the menu.

Randomly found this place after a trip to the Monterey zoo, was greeted nicely as we walked in and got our drinks very quickly, very relaxed and layer back feeling place. I got a bacon burger and onion rings, so did my daughter and my husband got a chicken fried steak breakfast,.. the food was honestly great, and the onion rings looked and tasted hand breaded, which no one does anymore and I really appreciated it because they were delicious! The bacon was nice and fat on the burger as well and it was overall very flavorful,.. my husband said the chicken fried steak was the best one he’s honestly ever had and he’s had a lot of them at various diners,.. I would definitely come here again in the future ā¤ļø

Pleasantly surprised for our first visit. Perfect for hubby and I. Just looking for place to eat and saw how crowded it was and thought, ā€œmust be goodā€. Ariana’s did not disappoint. Very attentive service. Food good.

Raw meat 🄩 when asked for medium, potatoes cold and soggy, no season on the steak, steak was tough and the tendons were left, cheap cut, this was not a NY steak, bad service, the owner manager doesnt care if u had a good experience! The elders go the during early breakfast deals however this food is horrible

Stopped by this spot in Salinas with a friend after hearing good things—especially about the pancakes. We both ordered the corned beef hash, and I swapped the toast for a pancake since that was the main reason I wanted to check the place out.

The entree itself was solid. The hash was flavorful and well-cooked, and overall the breakfast was enjoyable. But the pancake… not so much. When I tried cutting into it with a butter knife, it wouldn’t go through. I flipped it over and found the entire bottom was completely burned. It honestly felt like they tried to hide it, which is disappointing.

I asked for a replacement, and they brought another one out—but it was undercooked, like they over-corrected. Definitely one of the worst pancakes I’ve had. I’d consider going back for the main breakfast items, but I’d skip the pancakes entirely. Maybe it was just a one-off, but the attempt to cover it up didn’t sit right with me.

Had to sit ourselves. We sat at the tables next to register and kitchen and even though the waitress kept passing behind me to come out with the food it took them almost 5 min to give us a menu. The coffee was lukewarm and watery. I ordered the NY steak and eggs. Nothing special about the steak. Didn’t even have A-1 steak sauce it was some other brand that I didn’t like, was thin and had lots of fat. I ordered my eggs over easy but got sunny side up. Ordered the hash browns extra crispy but they looked the same as everyone else’s. They were so mushy l got the feeling I was having smashed potatoes. Maybe I should have gotten an omelette or something else.

They should put an air curtain in the entrance door because there are flies inside. The porkchop is salty and i think the oil used to fry it is already old or been used several times already, the broccoli is stale and the rice is dry and some grains are hard to chew. The garlic bread is salty and should be called salty bread instead of garlic bread
