First time trying Charleys at the Northridge mall, and I really enjoyed the cheesesteak sandwich. And they were toasted perfectly.Next time I'll ask to add spicy chillies, if available, to give the sandwiches an extra kick, but overall, I was very happy with the food and service. If fries were fried in fresher oil, the experience would be even better. Will be back...

So far, I've eaten here 3 times. The first 2 times were DoorDashed and the 3rd, dined in. First 2 we're really good. Got the Old School and cheese fries, very good. Presentation & packaging were amazing.Third time, dined in--same order, it's nice to eat fresh. The fries were very good. The cheesesteak could have been great but they over seasoned it, it was way too salty, and I love salty things. But this.. Too, too salty.I do recommend coming because it is good enough to satisfy a craving, and close to me. I've been to better, but you gotta go to SJ for that (Amato's)

I lived in Salinas for many years, and Charley's was one of my regular stops. I like variety in my diet so I would never order the same thing. That is, except for those gourmet fries. When you add bacon and cheddar cheese on top it takes you to a whole new level of goodness. Now there are cheesesteaks, and there are cheesesteaks. But Charley takes it to a whole new level. Meat piled high, I mean like a very generous amount of piled high meat. That, blended with oodles and oodles of cheese, and other selections, topped with sauces on top. I never get just one sauce but several for added goodness..makes for one awesome meal..

I had a craving for a cheesesteak and Charley's missed the mark with their dry, bland 'Philly' cheesesteak.
Really very good Philly cheese steak sandwich. We had two, one with everything and the second, original style. Grilled onions, grilled tomatoes, grilled steak, and melted provolone. This was a modification they hadn't seen before but they created deelishiousness!!!!

I stop by and order some cheese and bacon fries and the girl Rosa was going to make my order with some old fries and I asked her if they were fresh, she end up making me new ones but she was being rude after that. And when I told her thank you she just ignored me. Horrible service at this place and I'll never return.

Horrible time here.....staff was very unpolite and had me wait an extra 20 min to get my sandwich even though it was ready....the sandwich was sitting out getting cold without even wrapping it up.horrible time.the lady took extra time to pit in the condiments and sides for each order, even tough anybody could have done it in mere seconds.Cant be treated like this just because I was the last customer and came at 6:35,before they closed and got my order at 6:56.Horrible time and horrible staff.
