The staff is rude. The owner is rude too. The coffee and food is fine if a bit pricey, but not worth the terrible service. I'll go somewhere else.

The worst customer service. We waited 30 minutes for my husband's hot chocolate. It never appeared they made everybody else's first. When we went to go ask, they got attitude. Yes, there was a parade going on, but they should have anticipated the volume of people that we're gonna get and had extra people on shift. Horrible place will never go back there again. Asked for refund !

What phenomenal whole beans at a great price for the quality. Roasted on site by craftsmen. I really liked the Kenyan Peabody.

Absolutely the worst experience ever! Jimmy was a complete jerk! Treat women with more respect dude! Get a life too! Also be more kind! Kindness goes a long way! Look for another job if you do not want to be working in a coffee shop!

Im. Regular customer, and I went in the morning to order drip coffee. The coffee is usually good. But this time I went, I felt somewhat ignored, and felt the staff, and manager, treated a couple of customers better because they were dressed more formal than myself. The customer’s that usually stop by most of the time, are snooty, and I felt I was ignored. I didn’t bother to ask this time to use the restroom, because I got upset because of this situation. I was una hurry, I had to go to Panera to use the restroom.

Cherry Bean is by far and large the best coffee shop in Salinas. They don't have great hours (close at 3 on Saturdays, Google My Business says 5.)They get extra points for all the syrup flavors, especially sugar free syrup. It's just hard to compete with Cat & Cloud, Verve, 11th Hour, Captain Stoker, Hidden Fortress, Carmel Valley Roasting Company, ACME, and other Monterey Bay 3rd wave coffee shops. I usually order a cappuccino or cortado, and that's definitely not something I'd get from Cherry Bean. Here I stick only to lattes and mochas, like Starbucks and most places that make American style drinks.
