The owners cooked and served. They love what they do and it shows. Very nice. Food was great. There were 4 of us and we all got different meals. All very good. Driving through but would go out of my way to come again. Atmosphere got two stars because it is in the food court at the mall. Would still go again regardless. Thanks!!!!

Went here today for the first time. I ordered the carnitas burrito and it was delicious! I was surprised to see they sold Turkish treats. I bought an order of Turkish delights and the owner even included an extra piece. Very great service. You can tell the owner really cares about his customers and the quality of his food. Great flavors! Will definitely come again!! :)

Love the vibe of this cute little corner place; the artisan decor is inspiring. I got the huarache al pastor—YUM! Very authentic flavors. Guy's got the sazon. The owner is such a nice person; Really cool how he blends Turkish & Mexican culture with the baklava, Turkish delight, and coffee. Coming back next time we're at the mall!!!:)

An exceptional gastronomic experience!This Mexican restaurant has managed to capture the essence and authentic flavor of Mexico in every dish. From the first bite, I was impressed by the quality and freshness of the ingredients, as well as by the skill with which traditional Mexican flavors are combined. I highly recommend trying their tacos, quesadillas, huarache and especially their sopes they are simply delicious!. This place has definitely become one of my favorites for authentic Mexican cuisine.

Food was ok though I don’t think Im coming back. Service was also ok. I might have gotten food poisoning - I’m suffering from severe stomach ache.Also - I’ve noticed your responses to some reviews - they depicted and indicated defense mechanisms although you accompany it with apologies but it defeats the purpose of the apologies (acknowledging the discrepancies) and sincerity is dissolved. It sounds that there are justifications in your apologies. Their healthy criticisms so your business can improve and allow growth which gives birth to compassion instead of greed. On the side note, if it’s not so positive feedback, this could serve as a warning to my fellow consumers and that is ok.

I’m very disappointed I paid 40$ for 4 tacos over priced food to make matters worse I got food poisoning tacos de chicharon. I don’t mind paying for good food but the chorro and chaffing n stomach aches it’s a nightmare.

Fantastic place!!! I had an amazing Huarache… normally I have it with meat and this time we tried the mushrooms one… delicioso!!! The street tacos are sooooo good!Very authentic Mexican cuisine… clean and feels homemade!Professional staff, amazing hosts, Nursal, Ozden and Luis make you wanna always come back!P.S: don’t miss their Turkish Lokum and coffee :)
My wife and I had a wonderful first visit to El Canaston. The tacos de Canasta with chicharron and adobo were incredibly delicious, and we also enjoyed the tasty tinga quesadilla. The Mexican cuisine here is top-notch, featuring vibrant flavors and a diverse menu. We were pleasantly surprised to find Turkish coffee, baklava, and Turkish delight on the menu, adding a delightful twist. The service was excellent, with attentive and friendly staff. Highly recommend El Canaston for a fantastic dining experience!
