I've came here numerous times and this establishment has never failed me. The service is quick and the food comes out packing a lot of flavor. I really like to come to El Rodeo. I just have to try to get myself up early enough to try out their breakfast. The space is very nice and clean. They also have a plethora of drinks to choose from. As well as snacks in case you may want something later. This establishment has made me a loyal customer.

I love the chili relleno burrito! The sopes are amazing! And the shrimp is amazing! I love the light red salsa, it may be the most unique and best in town! Since I've eaten there, I've got my family into this restaurant too, after they order, they loved it! For anyone reading this please support this small business, they deserve it! The staff is really nice too! To the business: you may want to consider using that light red salsa as your marketing mule, La Victoria in San Jose has their orange sauce, and people come from all over, just to have it! Just a thought.

EDIT: When I originally made this review this was all true! However over the months there has been a decline in service. It is usually just the 2 owners and maybe 1 other person doing EVERYTHING (cooking, cleaning, serving, etc), but this is causing very slow customer service. The food is till good, they are very kind and friendly, it is clean and spacious, but they are very slow at customer service. Although I have made this update, I will leave my original review here--\\u003eSuperb customer service! The owners are extremely welcoming and friendly. The restaurant is very spacious and especially clean and of course the food is delicious! The tortillas are fresh hand made too! I will be going there again and I definitely recommend to others to go there.

This restaurant has gone from last to first in my opinion.I like to eat. I like good food. I like REAL AUTHENTIC Mexican Food. Here. I call it Cuisine. This Family is not stingy or tight with their portions! Friday, my Wife and I ordered 2 tamales rojo (pork). My GOODNESS. That tamale was huge and DELICIOUS. Also, ordered Chicken and Beef enchiladas.Tina ordered 2 one of each. I ordered 3 2 chicken with green sauce, Beef with red.The presentation was FANTASTIC. We got our plates. My God. We WANTED the food on our plate. The portions are big. You are gonna get plenty of rice and beans....But, the enchiladas. More meat than filler. Have you gone out to eat, you take your Wife and order and get more filler in your taco, tamale, enchilada, etc?Not here!The tamales are packed with meat.So are the tacos.So are the enchiladas.Menudo.Bomb!Pazole.Bomb!!!!Do your mouth and stomach a favor....Try Rodeo Restaurant and Bakery.Prices are favorable for the amount of food you get. And you get a lot.Parking: Plenty of open spaces.

Me and my husband have been coming every Friday for 3 weeks now and I absolutely love this restaurant ! Everyone there is super friendly and they are so quick when we order which I love because Im usually on my lunch hour! I have ordered a couple different plates and they all out so delicious! Prices are reasonable because every place is pretty pricey these days but with their great customer service and delicious food I don't mind one bit paying those prices. I love that every time we go it is not busy and we are serviced right away. It's always so peaceful and quiet and sometimes they have music playing... lol This is our new spot and I love that we live close by since I'm looking forward to trying the menudo and posole on the weekends!

Tamales are fantastic!! Good size for the price. I think they could add a little more meat stuffing, but the flavor is awesome, and the masa is moist not dry. You get a better deal by buying a dozen rather than two or three, and they are wrapped extremely well...all ready to freeze if you choose to do that. The restaurant is very clean and the atmosphere is pleasant.

Im glad i found this Real Mexican Flavorish restaurant while visiting Salinas.Its hard to find a place like this.When I tried the chips and salsa, I was surprised of the flavor. Then, when my molcajete arrived,It was one of the best ones that I have ever tried.This restaurant is a mom and pops owned.I am glad I found this spot.Ill give this place 10 out of 10Kid-friendliness: They dont sell alcohol, it is very family oriented

My friend told me to try this restaurant and I'm so very happy I did it is excellent it's a gem that not too many people know about I don't thank well if you want some excellent authentic Food and the salsa's ?? we're excellent I will be back a bunch of times if you haven't been there yet you got to give it a try and the service with a smile thank you for the delicious lunch I had see you soon
