Fish & Chips was a great place for a late lunch or dinner. I went with a group of 4 and we all ordered completely different food so we were able to share and taste a little bit of everything. The portion size was just right and the service was great too. Nice and friendly staff.

People are friendly, and very polite, they serve your order in time and they make sure you are ok. Waitress are friendly and they don't go after you for a tip like other restaurants. They do their work and they make themselves deserve a tip. They all deserve a tip for their service.

My son was craving fish and chips and so when heading home from Monterey, we went here and my son got 2 fish and chips, wife got shrimp and I had the fish tacos. All of the food was amazing.with the fish tacos they had potatos deep fried that were perfectly cooked and everything was perfectly seasoned.

Food always good. They're known for their menudo & pozole - probably the best known in town for that. Only complaint I have is there's no table service. Similar to other seafood restaurants in the area. Otherwise good food and good prices

I've been eating here since early 90's, one thing I miss is their fries, I liked the just regular steak fries they had than the seasoned ones. Also , the Cajun Shrimp is mi weakness there , I will give it a 4.5 syst out of 5, but only because recently I've been getting quite a bit of gooey creamy shrimp. By fixing that issue, I would surpass even the 5 stars.. This plate is highly recommended, in fact, I like it better than the nearby competition.

good old southern catfish and hush puppies! ordered on doordash for a friend (im out of state). she had never had catfish or hushpuppies and fell in love with them.. the manager was super friendly and nice(what you would expect with southern food).

I love this place. I live in the North Bay and travel to or through Salinas often in my work. I will be there for lunch today after I finish my business across HWY 101 at the Kia dealership. Good food at a great price. Along with very nice people running the place.
