We ordered fish and chips, both were hot and fresh. The batter was crispy and fish was moist and firm. My wife also had calamari that was crispy and not too chewy. The service was good, they checked on us periodically. I took some menuodo to go and that was just how my Mexican relatives used to make and taste,very traditional.

I ordered the Baja style fish tacos. At first I thought, “Wow, six tacos! That’s a lot!” But all I kept getting were mouthfuls of cabbage and tortilla, which was delicious but I came here for the fish. The size of the fish was so small it was easily overpowered by the mountain of cabbage and the thick tortillas. Would not get again, but the flavors were delicious. I’d rather have 4 tacos with more fish in it, then it would be amazing! Horchata was delicious. The price for everything was very reasonable. The waitress up front was so kind and amiable. Shout out to her!

If you're in Salinas, Ca. You must try the menudo here! It's one of the best that I've had. You can order it with or without hominy or pata! The tortillas are not homemade but the biting them soft enough to enjoy with the menudo. I also recommend you get the calamari! It's exquisite! Don't forget to Order tacos de frijoles! Those are great too! There's so much to taste! Strongly recommend that you visit this place.

The best fish and chips in the area, including the wharf in Monterey. Really fresh cod, lightly battered and perfectly fried. The chips/fries are also very good. We've been several times and the consistency is spot on. They have a lot more on the menu than fish, including some excellent menudo served daily that we've had a few times. The staff is friendly, the place is clean and the prices are very reasonable. Easy and ample parking. You can't go wrong here. 4.5 stars.
