Best cakes I have ever had! Always a hit at a party. I always get white cake stuffed with strawberries. Their frosting is whipped cream based I believe. Soooooo good!

One of THE best bakeries in Salinas. Every cake we've ordered from here has gone abive and beyond our expectations. Our last cake we ordered was a moon cake in which we were expecting something pretty simple. Well the gal that runs the place did a frosting painting of a night sky with moon on it. Looked way better than what we were thinking about to begin with. (We were alsp pretty vague when we ordered and literally just said "moon cake") All I was expecting was a grey cake with some black circles, instead I get a Monalisa moon cake. Put far more effort than we ever expected. And the cake is incredible by the way. Frosting so soft its hard to even feel it. Best cakes and this is for sure our main bakery both for aready and going forward.

This was one of my first jobs at 16, I mainly just stayed up front and handled the orders. But we always order our cakes from lisa now. We love the fresh strawberry and whip cream. These cakes are trully delicious.

Horrible and hilarious experience trying to place an order. I called the Freedom Bakery in Salinas for their Hawaiian Cake Delight. I requested they also add custard cream to the filling. They refused to add the custard filling because "it wouldn't taste good"...lol. I love custard filling in my cakes. They should be ashamed for pushing their own taste preference to others.

I've been going to this bakery since I was about 6 years old and let me tell you guys they have THE BESTEST BROWNIES!!!!!!! Their cookies and sweet bread are also very good not gonna lie but my favorite are their chocolate brownies? I highly recommend them for any chocolate lovers?
