The matcha is perfectly whisked with a vibrant green hue. It had that signature earthy richness without being overly bitter—super smooth and frothy.
I love that they use an hourglass ⏳. It takes the guesswork out of the infusion, ensuring the leaves don't over-extract. The flavor profile was clean, crisp, and incredibly grounding.
Drinking from heavy, artisan ceramics just makes the tea taste better. If you’re looking for a spot to unplug and actually hear your own thoughts, this is it.
The service is 10/10, will definitely continue supporting Gold leaf.

Didn't even know this place existed. Tiny hold in the wall with just a tea bar and some bookshelves holding pre packaged loose leaf. The girl behind the tea bar was exceptionally helpful and was really knowledgeable about the products and gave me a whole understanding of how to use the tea to get the best flavor. I don't even drink tea, I was getting a gift, but now I can share what she told me to hype up the gift even more. Will definitely be coming back.

Everything you ever wanted to know about tea, variations on the theme, and pure leaf vs. blends. It show with their pricing, a bit. But, being sure I am not getting a minimum percentage of varietal tea with filler is a big bonus for me.
All the fixings, different blossom leaves, powdered bark, etc..
They offer fermented tea. Glad I finally have tried some, but IMHO, just not my cup of tea. That is just me.
Their teas are also, from smelling the swing top locking crocks, (give them a mild shake & sniff) quite fresh and vibrant.
I ended up snagging some, for casual enjoyment on our travels.
Worth stopping in.

Super lovely staff!! The tea and spice selection is great too. I'm often disappointed with masala chai from cafes, but theirs is great!

I love the wide variety of tea selections and the shop feels cozy! I came to try out the matcha as it was mentioned highly in past reviews. It was a bit disappointing because I could barely taste the matcha flavor. We tried both of the iced matcha latte and matcha lemonade and it could really use more matcha to better match the cup size. I’m sure the teas are great but if you enjoy a stronger matcha flavor, it might not be suited for you.

Cheery kind atmosphere at the bar, a few tables too. Drink yours at the window and people watch. Great knowledgeable servers; lovely owner often walks through and chats. Large iced or hot tea and tisane (usu. not caffeinated) selection. They'll make your tea double strength on request. Stay as long as you like--read, chess, talk. Wish they had a few things to nibble with your tea.

The first time for everything, the drink I had was very delicious and natural. I highly recommend ?. I do not know what I ordered I had the server surprise me. The service was great she had a wonderful smile, and great conversation she explained how the drink was made and what ingredients she used to make the perfect natural goldleaf tea. Thank you ?. 10 out 10

the absolute best most thoughtful & inventive tea menu i’ve ever seen ! the staff is so passionate & knowledgeable about their teas - they even offered to blend a custom drink for me since i was between two different flavors. such a sweet place, wish they were open in the evenings at least on the weekends, would be such a cozy place to read a book or study!

Love this place. Great vibe. Nice and quiet but not like a library or anything. Space to work in the back and gorgeous front window bar seating.Tons of loose leaf teas available and big menu explaining all the sourcing of teas and about them — and an actual menu of blended drinks you can pick from. And open to any customizations.I wish they were open longer hours, this would be phenomenal weekend nights.

"Enter as Strangers - Leave as Friends"I work right above Gold Leaf so I know it well. The staff is nice and the teas are fantastic. There is ample seating along the beautiful stone bar. It's definitely a place to check out for tea. My favorite is iced red rooibos.
