While browsing for brunch options on our phones, my wife discovered this establishment. We researched it, noted its positive reviews, and decided to give it a try. I must admit, this place exceeded my expectations. The food is exceptionally fresh, and the staff is remarkably friendly. It's a small, unassuming location that could easily be overlooked, but ample parking is available in the rear, with convenient access through the back door. While this might seem unconventional, the menu offers an excellent selection, particularly if you appreciate authentic Mexican cuisine with a Oaxacan influence. I highly recommend a visit; I am confident you will not be disappointed. Furthermore, during a conversation with the owner, I learned that they offer catering services and host private events during off-hours, specifically after 5 PM on Saturdays and all day Sunday.

A nice option for vegans ! This is the 3rd time I have dined here and I always get the veggie bowl ! They do have a Blue Zones section of the menu so that is helpful if you are vegetarian or vegan !

This restaurant has the best food at a reasonable price! I love the convenient downtown Salinas location. We've had pretty much every item on the menu and you can't go wrong. Tonight we had the BLT, green chicken pozole soup, and the shrimp tacos. The BLT bread was toasty but soft with perfect crispy bacon and the soup was very flavorful with the perfect amount of spice. We also like the calamari appetizer and the chile renello. They have a mix of traditional American food and Mexican so something for everyone!
I took my gf/sissylala there for her birthday dinner(her choice)it was amazing! The owner served us and she is just beautiful and her hubby seems as precious! Their food is absolutely amazing! Needs no seasoning! Theirs is seasoned perfectly! 100 stars out of 10!!! We both had the birria plates with Spanish rice, and whole beans with corn tortillas and fixins as u see here. We also had chicken wings for out appetizer! Anazing!!! We are planning to try everything on the menu! This place will definitely be a monthly thing with us for sure!

I love going here from Burgers to breakfast burritos, the food is phenomenal! What's more is that the service is always incredible! Everyone is so kind and caring. I come in with my husband and the very sweet owner always welcomes us and asks how we are doing. Post remodel the restaurant has been rejuvenated with stunning colors adding to the already warm and homely atmosphere. Anyone who finds themselves in Salinas should definitely stop in!

We stopped in for a quick meal on our way home from Northern California. What a delight to find this gem! We had the veggie bowl, vegan tamales and a bowl of tasty vegan lentil soup. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was warm and colorful. We look forward to our next visit when we a traveling through Salinas. We will definitely be back!
