Always great food and open late! No sitting area since it's a food truck but we take it to go. You can't go wrong with anything on their menu! Definitely check out La Paloma next time you want a great burrito or tacos!

I was walking up abbott st tonight, and saw this place. I ordered a shrimp burrito 🌯 with everything on it and i was blowm away!🔥 Most places over stuff their burritos with rice. I thought i mistakenly forgot to ask for less rice. Turns out i didnt need to! The burrito had shrimp loaded with flavor down to the last bite! I ate it during my walk home and cant even remember the walk home. 🤣 I was in burrito mode!!! Lol i highly recommend this place. HIGHLY recommend!!!

I recently visited this restaurant and had a mixed experience. One thing to note is that they don’t seem to accept credit cards, which wasn’t mentioned anywhere, so I was caught off guard without cash. I also wasted time downloading zelle. The food was a bit overpriced for the quality, especially the seafood, which I found to be average. However, the tacos were quite impressive—definitely above average.
While it wasn’t the best first impression, I’d consider going back to try more of the menu and see if my opinion improves.

I gotta tell u... If u have visited Salinas for days or weeks or even decades and have not visited La Paloma (It's a converted taco mobil home.... I know) you haven't got an idea of what Salinas as a Cultural center of this great central California truly is!! It's a mandatory food stop coming or going to Salinas. Anything... N a do mean anything and everything in the menu is better than very good... N coming from me that's a lot of compliments... And no they're not paying me notn!!... This review will be updated... Whent to the truck located on Abbott Street Salinas California got a burrito two tacos and the food is really good excellent job
I went to this place based on the reviews from other persons. Unfortunately the tacos wasn't what I expected. The meat was not asada, the tortillas had a lot of grease from some other meats, the service was too slow, plus they serve other people who's order was after me first and they order the same as me. I don't know why the people say it's good or really good the food, for me or my wife was less than regular food. I have lunch early the day on a restaurant on monterey Ave, a few block from there and was way way better, so, it's not me been picky, it was the food was bad.

We shared the breakfast burrito and chips with chorizo and queso. Absolutely delicious. The chips were light and crisp. We happened upon the truck when we stopped at Triptych Brewing on a road trip. Perfect dinner and beer stop!

Taco pastor, breakfast burrito, and fries with salsa verde was good at 12 midnight. Later that morning, my stomach was aching a bit lol. I felt better afterwards. Probably because it has been a while since I ate spicy food.
Parking: There is street parking near by, but be careful because we got there at night and there are other people out there wanting to eat and/or hangout.
