I love frozen custard and this is the first place I have found in California that serves it. Turned out to be just as good as the custard my grandparents would take me to get every time I went to Tennessee. Our service was great too and they are following coronavirus protocols too!I will go back!

Try the Gelati!.. ½ Italian ice and ½ custard. One of my favorite combos is the Horchata Italian ice and Carmel custard.
It was my first time and the man in the front was kind enough to explain everything on the menu and how the products were made! Great customer service! Will definitely come back again!

This is a great place to stop for a break when traveling from the central coast to the Bay area. My husband and I always make a pit stop here when we road trip up north. He was born and raised in Philly so Rita's is super nostalgic to his childhood.

I wish I had discovered Rita's years ago! Our household doesn't buy regular ice cream anymore; we just buy a couple pints of the frozen custard and some quarts of the icee/slushy items. Our go-to custards are vanilla, mint, and mango. For the slushies, can't go wrong with a blue raspberry. This last visit I tried the watermelon slushies and was delightfully surprised to find chunks of actual watermelon in it.
