My husband and I found this place and now frequent it at least once a week, sometimes more! The pizza is AMAZING! Portions are very generous, the owner aims to please, and does a great job.
I'll mention several items. So we've tried: the Hawaiian, the All Meat, Pepperoni, Jalapeño - ALL are EXCELLENT! Great ingredients, plenty of cheese (yum! I'm a cheese lover) Cooked to perfection, great flavor!
We've also tried the House Calzone, Ham & Cheese Calzone. Both great! Very ample servings. DELICIOUS!
The Bacon Twists - Oh my, I could make a meal out of a couple twists, and the smallest serving is 3! Garlic twists - delectable!
My husband had hot wings and loved them, potato wedges, loved them.
There's isn't a single thing not to like. The restaurant is clean, and you can order ahead and utilize the drive thru. If you haven't already, go try it! You won't be sorry, - AND the prices are reasonable, won't leave a big hole in your wallet!!

Areas of improvement: The Chorizo Pizza had too little chorizo.. it made me think of Where’s Waldo!?🤣

I love pretty much all pizza, but I’ve been hitting blanks finding a truly great pizza anywhere in this area.
My hometown has spoiled me with off the charts delicious food and I’ve sadly become a food snob. I keep trying pizza place after pizza place throughout Monterey county and haven’t even been able to find any better than Pizza Hut. UNTIL NOW!!!!
I’ve only tried the Mexican Pizza (and will absolutely be back to try the other flavors) but everything worked with this pizza (except the pineapple which is just added for a dexterity exercise). The crust was both light with the perfect balance of chew and crunch, the flavor of the sauce was intense with a small amount of kick, and the toppings were unique and delicious.
I don’t live anywhere close to this pizza place, but will be back!

We ordered a large pepperoni pizza and a large pepperoni pineapple and jalapeno pizza. It was made well, but the sauce needs some seasoning. Someone else said the same thing in another review. Hopefully the owners listen to the reviewers because it has potential. If you don't want the greasy pizza then I recommend this place for that! It has a lighter taste than other popular places.

Pizza House in Salinas definitely hit the mark! My daughter is super picky about pizza, so finding a spot she loves is no small feat—but she absolutely approved! The location was convenient, and the staff went above and beyond. They courteously took my order over the phone, and when we arrived, everything was ready and perfectly prepared. The pizza was hot, flavorful, and just right—two very personal pan pizzas that left us both happy. My daughter is already asking to go back this weekend! We’ll definitely be returning—highly recommend Pizza House for great food and even better service.

Be careful at Strawhat Pizza on Laurel. Just found glass on our combo and when I called the store to tell them I was told “We have no glass in our pizza you can come over here and look at the kitchen” I said well it’s IN THE PIZZA don’t came from somewhere. I said I was calling just to let them know for the safety of other customers and request a refund he said he was unable to help with an online order and shouted at me “Do not order from my restaurant ever again what is your name” 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 REALLY ????
Needless to say we will never eat there again and hopefully nobody else found glass or was harmed because the manager refused to even apologize or take responsibility!

So the Dayi went for the lunch the special pizza look like it was sitting there for hours and cold there, no worker was in the front so no one was there to take my order or anything place was pretty much dead like literally if I wanted to I could’ve just grabbed the pizza and sat ate and employees would’ve never found out unless they looked at the cameras but I left and place sucks

The best pizza places I have been to add something extra to the sauce and dough. This place doesn't taste like it adds anything; the sauce didn't stand out at all, and while the dough was to the thickness I prefer there wasn't anything special about it tastewise. The cheese was good and I preferred the sausage to the pepperoni by quite a bit.
The jalapeño & cheese groovy twists could have benefited from the cook being more liberal with the cheese, as it was a little more doughy and less cheesy. Overall, pretty decent but nothing amazing.
If I lived near this place, I would go there every now and then. As somebody who might pass through this town again on vacation, there are too many other options that it is not worth a second try.

Really good pizza! Came in to try it randomly it was very good and the service was great. I got a small pizza and a side was told 15-20 mins but I think they actually got it out quicker than estimated. Will definitely come again
