The Kahlon family at Straw Hat Pizza is amazing! Theyāre super kind, welcoming, and really went the extra mile to make sure we had a great experience. The JalapeƱo Garlic Twistā¦ wow, total showstopper! The pizza was custom-made just the way we wanted and came out perfect. Easily one of the best spots for pizza, and if youāre in Carmel or Monterey, this is a must-try. Great food, awesome peopleāyou canāt go wrong here!

They updated the place from previous years. It's not longer dark inside. Had my baby's 1 year birthday party here. The pizza was good, many different flavors. My only issue was one of the guys didn't speak much English, so I had to communicate with what I presume was the manager for most of the stuff. He was very helpful.

We recently hosted a graduation party at Straw Hat Pizza and had such a great experience! We were able to rent out a section of the restaurant, which gave us plenty of space to celebrate. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout the whole process, and they gave us a lot of flexibility with bringing in our own decorations and desserts.
They were also very thoughtful about the timing of when the pizzas came out, making sure everything was fresh and ready right when we needed it. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the whole experience felt smooth and stress-free.

Straw hat pizza is known throughout the Salinas Valley, having a reputation for superb pizza!
Way over priced the pizza was not cooked all the way so eating raw dough the salad bar was a complete joke had to wait 30 minutes before they brought out any pizza if you want a decent pizza buffet go to mountain mikes 10 times better and a bit cheaper no one came in there to eat i was there an hour ghost town lol

Be careful at Strawhat Pizza on Laurel. Just found glass on our combo and when I called the store to tell them I was told āWe have no glass in our pizza you can come over here and look at the kitchenā I said well itās IN THE PIZZA donāt came from somewhere. I said I was calling just to let them know for the safety of other customers and request a refund he said he was unable to help with an online order and shouted at me āDo not order from my restaurant ever again what is your nameā š¤¬š¤¬š¤¬š¤¬š¤¬š¤¬š¤¬ REALLY ????
Needless to say we will never eat there again and hopefully nobody else found glass or was harmed because the manager refused to even apologize or take responsibility!

Great pizza!!! Best in salinas! Owner Jaf kept his promise of 8 Free bacon/cheese sticks!! On my next order as a coutesy for making a mistake on my laat order!!! I'll be back soon! My new go to pizza place in salinas!!!

The Service is AMAZING. The staff are so hospitable. They gave us a larger serving than what we ordered. We came thirty minutes before closing and stayed 30 minutes after closing, but they never rushed us. It was also fun to practice the little Hindi that I'm learning with them. Super-Kid Friendly. They even have an Arcade, though it wasn't open when we arrived.

What else one needs to enjoy with friends. Yeah that's great food and clean atmosphere. As we went without informing time and number ,then also we were served in minutes. FOOD AND STAFF took my heart. And sorry guys we cross your closing time but you let our children PLAY Games which kept them busy. No where else to go when we have u.
