I have been going to Super Taqueria for over 40 years. Is it good,? Hell yes!!!.10th Street San Jose was my first time. Moved back to So.Cal. in 1988. Everytime we head North, Super Taqueria is on the list. The super burrito with carne asada is PERFECT. Sit down with a bottle of green sauce and you'll be in heaven..
I only go for the super tacos de pastor. Get extra cilantro, onion, and Serrano peppers on the side. I like my tacos with salsa and extra Limon. Both salsas are good. My kids like the super giant burritos. My wife also likes the super tacos de pastor. So far my favorite places to get tacos. One time tho there was this girl that was burning the tortillas. She was giving the cooks tostadas instead of some nice warm tortillas with cheese. Worst tacos from super taqueria that time...
We ate here after going on a reunion tour at Alisal High. Luckily, it wasn't crowded. I had the Super burrito with carnitas and nachos. This place is no nonsense, down to earth Mexican eating. I'm from East Salinas, but I live in the Tampa, FL area. The places in the Tampa area can't compete with this place.
