Tacos Don Elias is a permanent taco wagon located on Highway 1 south of Salinas. Despite being a bit dusty, the food is well worth the stop. The menu offers a variety of dishes, including the spicy pork burrito, which is more savory than spicy. The Cuban torta is a standout, featuring a unique combination of ham, hot dog, chorizo, steak, and bacon. Prices are decent and the food is not bad at all.
