I went in for a coffee this afternoon and the barista not only does not greet me, shows no smile, no acknowledgement and purposely continues to do what she is doing with no signs that she is gonna come to the register and take the order. She has no business sense and may be disgruntled and wants to see Beerded Bean business go down the tubes. Needless I left the place and went to a different coffee place. Took a friend there for the first time , we wanted to have the horchata drink unfortunately they didn’t have it so we decided on a blended drink and they couldn’t make blended drink’s , restroom was out of order.

I'm concerned this place is sliding. Service can be very slow- appears to have staffing issues. Pastries have always been mediocre but I didn't mind it when other aspects of visit were OK. The fatal flaw this visit was no working bathroom. Yuck. I used to really like this place- hope it can climb back up to a more enjoyable experience. I don't WANT to go to Starbucks, but had to today.

Yaretsi (so sorry if I spent your name wrong) is amazing. She was so patient and polite. It’s 6:00am and she has the sweetest service ever helping me choose my drink.
Perfect study spot. Tons of seating, outlets, reasonably priced, and restrooms available. Every barista I've met has been so sweet!

I want to give this place 5 stars. Mostly because they open at 6am, and i refuse to give my business to Starbucks. BUT, I almost walked away when i found the main door locked at 6:30am. The cappuccino is great, but i had to insist on a mug instead ofa paper cup. The pastry is meh. The barista needs people skills. And, the place is dingy. It smells less than fresh... like a hamper on laundry day.

Con: The bathroom needs a deep clean. It’s frankly disgusting. Floor is wet, smells like urine. No towels to dry hands.

Solid coffee. I got house iced coffee with oat milk and it is smooth and aromatic like the good coffee should be. The giant cookie looked tempting but we are too full to try. I would like to have it next time.
