The employees were nice and respectful. The restaurant was clean. The California club sandwich was tasty with plenty of meat, but I felt the wheat bread was a little sweet for my pallete. Will return, but I might try something different next time.

Cold sandwich and terrible customer service from an empty restaurant.Went in on Saturday afternoon. No other customers. We looked at the menu for a while as it was our first time. We decided on our order so went up to the order counter. The employee who had been talking on the phone the entire time did not make any acknowledgement of our presence. After a while, we looked around and found the self ordering machines. We placed our order there. The employee who finished his call apologized and told us to wait. He did not even look at our order. We went to our table but then went back to the counter to ask for our drink first while we wait.When our order was ready, he apologized again and offered a free bag of chips. We asked if the sandwich is cut in half and he assured that it was cut. But we found out that it was only cut a halfway and we had to ask for a knife and napkins (not included).Worst of all, the hot sandwich which supposed to have melted cheese was cold.

Good sandwiches made like your want them as your watch. The breads are rolls, so expect them to be on the form side. Friendly and helpful employees. In today's economy, prices aren't bad. Keep in mind that they have 3 sizes - something easily missed - Mini, Regular, and Large. The Mini isn't that small, so it can be enough to fill many appetites.

Had a great experience, I had a question about my sandwich and the young man Daniel explained everything to me, he should definitely be the manager at this site. Looked like everyone looked to him for direction. I will continue to come here as long as he's running the show.

My fav is HRB without produce. The Salinas location is relatively new and does a good job making the sandwiches.
Came in at about 7:30 and the guy working acted like he didn't want to help me, he was smug and didn't really say anything but repeat my order, i bought two sandwiches one was a triple dip and the meat on it was hard and really chewy and didn't taste good, and he did not give me the au jus that's supposed to come with it, when i got home i was really upset. Will not return, if i want Togo's from now on I will drive to seaside, and it's sad because i live a few blocks away from this one.
