I tried to get a table here a few weeks ago on a Saturday morning. It was busy as expected and I was standing right in front of the register waiting to be greeted and put on a waiting list. I waited for 15 minutes and I didn’t even get an acknowledgment from the staff. They walked past me multiple times and avoided eye contact. I used to be a server and I understand things get overwhelming but it only takes a second to greet a guest and let them know someone will be with them soon. I felt like a ghost and looking around the room I wondered if my ethnicity was why I was ignored. Horrible first impression and I won’t return. There’s so many other good breakfast spots around.

Great tasting, home style, comforting meals served here. Can sit outside on covered patio or indoors. Parking is tricky, and be very careful getting off of, or back onto, highway 68. Worth going. Not fancy, casual dress, very comfortable.
Tasty food, cute spot, and lovely service! Can’t wait to go back!
Best food and waitresses in the county
Decent tasting reuben and potato salad but left feeling unsatiated by the meal.
Had the chicken fried steak and eggs, hash browns and a biscuit. Perfect breakfast! I had to waddle out, but I'll be back.
Food was good service was bad they attended someone who got there after me first
We’ve been coming here for years because the food and service are the best. Josue and his crew always make sure our coffee cups are full and the biscuits and cinnamon rolls are incomparable!
Convenient location right off 68! A heads up it gets busy on weekends, especially when there are events happening at Toro Park. On those days, the parking can be tough. It's a cute, small restaurant. Not always fast, but the staff is nice. Discount for those paying with cash.

It's my favorite weekend brunch spot. The staff is fantastic and the food is so freaking good! It's always busy, so plan time to wait a minute. But that's the real sign of great food.

Waitress was abrupt, barely glanced at me(grey-haired senior woman), but had a friendly smile and greeting for my younger male friend. Hash browns were not the least bit crisp. I had bacon, eggs, hash browns, toast & coffee. It was “meh”. The best part of breakfast was the coffee, and prompt refills. My friend had a breakfast entree under $20, I believe. All in all, I regret the $10 tip, and the meal was definitely not worth $52 plus $10 tip. First and last time eating here.
Parking: Just off a busy little highway, with strange parking. Parking seems willy nilly, and “wherever”. People seem to park and actually block others in. On top of that, with other cars blocking your view, getting on the highway from the (lower) parking lot is darned tricky….taking a chance and edging out…hoping you don’t get t-boned.
