Great establishment for a small time cafe. Get the tri-tip salad, you can't go wrong. Breakfast is also good.

Consistently one of the best places for breakfast in this area. Usually busy, parking is always a problem, but it's well worth it. My go-to is the huevos rancheros with chile verde and it's the stuff I dream of. It's not always on the menu, unless it's the weekend. Tortilla with a slather of beans and cheese and another tortilla on top. Pour on the delicious pork chili verde, add your eggs and a sprinkle of cotija and cilantro. Delicious! My husband loves the chicken fried steak, and theirs is the best locally. Their gravy tastes homemade and the steak is seasoned and cooked perfectly. I would add photos, but food is usually devoured so quickly after arriving that there's no time. Staff is friendly and does a good job. The same people have been there for a long time, so they must treat their staff well. Appreciate this place and highly recommend.

Great food and friendly people. The patio is beautiful on a nice day, and the interior is all charm.

Had a patty melt and it was a scoche above average. Nothing to knock your shoes off or write to mom about but you can do worse.

I just experienced the worst service of my life. Waitress had a horrible attitude the second we walked in. We were sat in a corner and left there. Never given a menu or anything to drink. Watching as everyone got served and order taken. We ended up leaving. Asked the horrible old watresses name to which she replied, " I don't have to tell you". Asked the 2nd waitress with colorful hair what the waitresses name and she too refused to provide the name and queationed why I wanted her name. Which tells me, they both practice this behaviour eith minorities regularlary. I will never set foot in this racist place as long as I reside in Monterey County. I will make sure to let the entire community know how they operate this business as well. Dispicable. The owner should be ashamed in his staff selection.

Wonderful throwback local roadside eatery, which has existed in its current form since 1956 and inhabits a gas station from the '30's. Down-home food in simple surroundings with nice outdoor patio, too. Friendly, efficient wait staff and very reasonable prices.TPC is open only for breakfast and lunch, and it's very popular, deservedly so.

A very American wilderness restaurant! The service is also very friendly and the food is delicious! I took it away, a cheeseburger and fries. The burger was delicious, and the fries are a must-try! It is recommended that if you are not in a hurry, you can go to the outdoor dining area to relax and enjoy it.

Went there with my hiking buddy to have lunch. Ordered a Philly-style roast beef sandwich. It was the skinniest sandwich I've ever seen, a hotdog sandwich would have looked like a fat burger in comparison to that Philly-style sandwich. If I was from the Philly area, I would have been very much offended. It should be called skinny style sandwich or almost an empty bun or .....! My buddy didn't have much luck with his either. I do not recommend it.

The food has been consistently good for many years. The place has a ton of character and you will not leave the place hungry as portions are generous. Both breakfast and lunch are enjoyed by locals.
