I'm glad it's still a restaurant. Grew up eating there with the family. It was always a great place to go , especially if you have a huge family. My entire family is a bit disappointed in the food nowadays. The new owner is a nice woman and we'll keep going for the atmosphere but the food is a disappointment. I think they still have that good vegetable soup that's great with the bread.
Suppose I'll always go back so long as they don't change...

I haven't been out to the cookhouse since the pandemic ended. I was not impressed with the changes they made during the pandemic can hopefully they have rolled those back, it just wasn't the same.

Excellent!! The food was home cooked deliciousness! Down home stick to your ribs meal and very tasty! Service was excellent the lady was was busy but so nice and prompt. Definitely recommend this place to eat. Bring your appetite!!!
