“My aunt was raving about this place for 2 years before I finally agreed to go try it with her. It is now my new favorite! Every dish I have tried is so fresh, so packed with flavor, I am humming while I eat. The owner is so full of love that this place makes you vibrate higher when you leave. I recommend you sit out back overlooking the King Salmon canal water, and feel the peace while you fill your belly. This place rocks, don't miss it!”

My only constructive criticism is I would have loved to see more add in/topping options. I think that would have sent this ramen over the edge, but none the less, it was fantastic!”

The Black Rye Shortbread Cookies tasted so good with my morning coffee. I am looking forward to trying more. I was also very surprised by the way they box/ship their product. I have never had a packaged delivered packed so good.”

“this place is great and normally I love everything, the Mom and Pop vibes and the old fashioned style shop. the donuts are extremely good. and even though yesterday, the lady who works the counter was frowning at me the whole time, I still recommend them. but she really needs to stop that, it made me uncomfortable. the man working with her was polite, and she was saying polite things and being polite.. just with a look on her face that made me feel like I had inconvenienced her by coming in. heck, I still recommend them, everyone can have a bad day and a surly staff can be amusing.”

“We were sick, worked late, lacked sleep and only wanted to stay home in pjs. Went on the ole Door Dash and saw Backwood Burritos was available! 20 minutes later these piping hot, life giving beauties were on our front porch. Of course it would have been fun to visit Britton in person on this beautiful day at his cart on G Street. But for today this was an amazing option. So delicious and the jalapeños are kicking our colds butts! Thank you!”

At first I was confused about that, now I just love to go and not worry about what to order; knowing whatever it is will be a delight. It was a special anniversary date night. - and this place was amazing. Yes, crab fat wings appetizer are a must -& we shared a nightly special of lamb chops, accompanied by delightful blue cheese mashed potatoes, & tasty, asparagus, cooked to perfect perfection. We topped it off with the most delicious creamy decadent dessert of a white chocolate crème brûlée that we have ever tasted! Will definitely be back and are highly recommending this place! Probably good to have reservation as it is a small venue.”

“This is our favorite (dare I say only?) hard cider taproom in Eureka. They recently upgraded their outdoor seating area and on a fair day it’s a wonderful space to enjoy. Otherwise we either belly up to the bar or grab a table and try to play cribbage. I only say try because most decks are made up of 32 cards and theirs have definitely been played with by kids. They have varying food trucks that park right up front, you can call and ask or check out the socials to see what eats are available on what days, I only have 4stars for the reason that with food trucks it’s hit n miss. They even have a private event room for your special occasions. We usually spend about one pints worth of time there, then take our growlers home to enjoy safely. Rain or shine this is a wonderful spot to hang out for a bit. The ciders are crisp, varying, full of flavor and the service is always with a smile. Furry friends are welcome, just not on the fake grass by the outdoor seating area.”

“Great tasting steak street tacos and green sauce at a good price!!! Fast and yummy! The very nice gentleman even took my order on the phone and had it hot and ready when I arrived. Good amount of steak on the tacos too! I made 2 tacos out of the 1 I ordered! Apparently they are well established in the community and stay busy so I'm sure the food is always fresh! It is a good taco truck! Clean and it smells great just walking up to it. I'll definitely be back 🙂”
