Bought 3 different loaves at the Farmer's Market this weekend: Ammerland Black Rye, 100% Stone Milled Honey Whole Wheat (sliced), and Sourdough Whole Wheat Sesame Currant. All 3 are fantastic; I love them all! I'm just sad that I can't buy bread like this near where I live. Reminds me of the breads I've had in Germany, Austria, Switzerland. Was visiting Eureka this weekend and stumbled onto Beck's breads at the farmer's market in Arcata. Loving German bread (and being German as well) makes me always interested in healthy, tasty bread. American bread is slowly catching up, but still has big shoes to fill to match German breads. There was/were sourdough, millet and other different grain breads available. Everything looked good! I really enjoy Becks bread! Great flavor and I like all the different varieties of grains used, that they are locally sourced, that Rhonda uses a stone mill to grind all the grains.
