My boyfriend and I both love the lavender honey ice cream and the lemon poppyseed one, it's popular so if you want those flavors you'll have to go earlier on since at night it tends to be dwindled down to only 2-3 flavors left. The place is super cute and well decorated but small. The only complaint is the service, everytime i've been there the girls working are extremely rude and look at you as though you are a nuisance. Cinnamon ice cream was like drinking the bottom of the milk after eating Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal.Worth the 13 hour drive (ok, maybe a lie but we started in Long Beach the day before on our way North up the coast towards home; Oregon.)

If you make your way to Arcata you have got to try Arcata Scoop! Their ice cream is amazingly delicious. The inside is cute and quaint and the service is great. Our family had their chocolate, cinnamon, mint chip and honey vanilla lavender flavors. We just discovered this little gem. If you are in Arcata you really don't want to miss this place.
