Day O Espresso & Smoothies

I go here fairly often when I drive from Folsom to Sonora. Weird experience today and I feel terrible for the one employee who was actually working.

I waited behind a car at the first window for about five minutes while the cashier and the driver talked. I finally noticed that there was no card/money being passed through the window, and the employee never left to make a drink. They were just talking. I tried to ask if they were open but the employee didn’t acknowledge me.

I pulled around to the next window to wait, and in the back area two guys were sitting at a table that was propping the door open (they had dayo shirts on) and the table was covered in trash and empty dayo cups.

I noticed inside that the same girl was still talking, and the only other employee inside was running around like crazy serving the customer ahead of me.

I eventually left without buying anything because I had already been waiting for a good ten minutes at that point and had to keep driving, and the driver vibes were just off.

I hope the only employee working gets some real help from a manager or other coworkers in the future. She deserves it!

Just went to this drive thru coffee place it's 9 am in the morninh and the girl at the window informed me that they were closed because both employees were on their lunch and when I asked when they would be back and when they opened and she refused to answer me this is the same employee that made my drink last week and refused to remake it when it was incorrect the customer service at this location is awful the employees are rude and the coffee is just crap 90% of the time this place is a waste of time and money if they continue to do business this way and hire employees with no people skills or even the common knowledge or training to make a simple coffee drink many more people will start to get there coffee at the gas station WHICH IS BETTER ANYWAYS IN MY OPINION!

I had a large smoothie with a bunch of different fruits. I was shocked how much it cost me but the cup was huge and the smoothie was thick and heavy. It was very delicious too. The girls working were very friendly, knew their products and got me exactly what I wanted. They were both very pretty too.

As I've never ordered food from here I will not give a rating. As well it's a small drive through so there isn't an atmosphere to comment on.

The service here, no matter how busy they may have been, has always been pleasant, knowledgeable and swift .... The coffee or any beverage I've consumed from this cute little place has never failed to satisfy.

If in the area, and want a coffee or something of that nature but not pay those high over priced corporation prices, this is a nice small local business worth giving a try.

Good for sugar drinks, if that's what you're into. The making of the coffee itself is lacking and always has been.

I ordered a triple iced chai latte and whereas it tasted good I drank it in 2 minutes and had ice for the next 4 hrs. In a hot car . So in short it was 97% ice 3% drink. Not a good ratio for the 5 plus dollar cost I get more at the other huge name competitor starting with a s. and that's not good either smaller more local places should have better more quality and quantity if they want to stay in business.

The girls are rude...
They got my order wrong blamed me for it and then charged me more money for their mistake..
I will not be going back there.

2nd Day-o stop for us. Their double espressos checked out again.
