Really good pizza, amazing risotto, awesome caesar salad and kick ass Brussels sprouts.
First I went for the pizza and was really happy with it. Then I saw they have risotto and tried it. Then I saw they make their own pasta. Been there a couple of times and didn't even order the pizza and was completely satisfied. Last time there I tried the ravioli of the month which was really good.
It's definitely our regular pizza place now.
Service is hit or miss. Never bad.
On cold days it does get cold inside at times. Not the warmest place to go for dinner. Last time it was actually freezing inside and I felt like the AC was on when I was in the 40s outside. After about a half hour the heat seemed to have kicked in and it warmed up. That was weird. If you get cold easily bring a jacket to wear inside.
Update after a few visits over a year or so:
Tonight was spot on with everything. The monthly pizza was the best we've had so far. I love how they change up the risotto. It's good each time. I usually get the caesarlina salad which is delicious but since it was a cold day, I tried the minestrone. It was fantastic. I finally remembered to take pics this time.
There are a couple of new really good spots in San Rafael now that do legit Neapolitan pizza. Pizzalina shines with their crisp NY style crust.

PizzaLina in San Anselmo left a lasting first impression. On my very first visit, the one thing I had to try was their mac & cheese. Although it’s no longer on the menu, Luis went above and beyond — working some real magic with the chef to bring it back just for me, made with their house-made pasta. What came out was easily one of the best mac & cheeses I’ve ever had. Rich, perfectly balanced, deeply comforting, and incredibly well executed. Mac & cheese is my favorite food, and I’ve had it across countless restaurants and cities — this one truly stands out.
That level of hospitality, care, and craftsmanship says everything about PizzaLina. From just this single experience, the quality of the food and the genuine passion behind it already earn a five-star rating in my book. I truly hope the mac & cheese makes its return to the menu, but either way, I’ll absolutely be back to explore the pizzas and everything else they have to offer. A beautiful example of thoughtful cooking and exceptional service.

Love the food, eating at pizzalina is a great experience, BUT ordering gluten free for pickup or delivery is just a nightmare.
Not available via food delivery apps, calling means you wait on hold between 3
and 15 minutes, hung up on average every three minutes, so of you have the patience and time you might be able to get gluten free delivery or pickup.

Their food is delicious. We often get the half baked pizzas, even though it is a bit of a drive.
Shocked by the good reviews. Service was nearly nonexistent. Didn’t get my order right (I asked to add a protein to my pasta and they didn’t, I asked for no chili flakes and there definitely was), my pasta was overcooked, my mom’s pasta was dry (lacking sauce). The people next to us waited 15-20 minutes just for their check after trying to pay inside. And it wasn’t even busy when we came for lunch, there were only two other groups of 2 people, and both were done eating.
Good 👍
Excellent food, great service, wine, deserts. The servers actually will give you opinions about the food if you ask. That a test I have: Will the servers give an opinion if asked or will they weasel out. The staff have opinions about the wine, the main courses, dessert. Lovely experience
Quite Disappointing. service was bad! Pizza is about adequate, tops. Odd cheese. Had take out but not told when the pizza was ready, so it was cold when we finally went up to ask when our pizza would be ready. Undercooked and soggy too, which is maybe why the cheese was so odd.
Very Nice atmosphere inside
One of the best pizzas in San Anselmo area. It is extremely expensive though for what you get. Would recommend if cost doesn’t.
Greatest pizza I’ve ever had. The waiters and waitresses were very friendly. And they have indoor and outdoor dining. What can you not like about this place?
Parking: Tons of parking; don’t worry
Kid-friendliness: Waiters/waitresses are so nice to the kids
Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs

Pizzalina in Fairfax has unfortunately seen a decline in pizza quality. The toppings are sparse and unevenly spread, while the dough has become rubbery and unappealing. The gazpacho is overly salty. However, the fried Brussels sprouts are a standout, offering a deliciously crispy bite with a tangy sauce that shines.

This was a takeout pizza with gluten-free crust, Miyake dairy free cheese, sauce, house sausage, anchovies. The crust was thin Neapolitan Style like I've never seen on a gluten-free crust. pizza I am in heaven! Its been Eight years since I last had That transcendent pizza crust experience, but the first time in gluten-free form.
