I don’t want to ruin this classic San Anselmo business’ income, but in lieu of a website or email address, I’m compelled to leave this public review in hopes that ownership sees it. You guys are over roasting your African beans to a criminal degree. Yirgacheffe and Tz pea berry are such delicate, complex beans, with so many floral / fruity / light flavors, that roasting them within an inch of their lives completely misses their point. Far be it from me to tell someone else...
Been here a few times and really like the spot. The drip coffee is delightful, but I’ve also gotten some really burned milk when I ordered a latte and another coffee for my wife. Hopefully they can work that out. Will continue to support this spot.
This rating (3 stars) is solely based on the smoothies, so take it accordingly.The place was cute and smelled like coffee, but the staff was okay and the smoothie wasn’t all that good.
