The Hub was our lunch spot, well for 1 ..it's right there in San Anselmo with an easy in and out for parking, and 2 ..the food is always a show stopper, in other words ..Amazingly Delicious!
I was with Hairlip Larry and Dingus McGee on our way out to the Sheepherders spread to drop off these two weasels so they could run his herd through the Sheep Dip Trough, but figured I'll give them lunch first, and as always The Hub pulls through ..Bigley!
The fried Chicken sandwiches were amazing! 5 stars for sure! ☆☆☆☆☆

They are awesome! They have 2 gluten free dedicated fryers and their fries are fresh cut russet potatoes. Much appreciated!

this used to be pretty good. not lately tho sadly. the fries were greasy and barely room temp so we sent them back only to have them replaced with exactly the same. it was like they didn't even hear why we were sending it back. then the hub burger was well done like a hockey puck. i need to remember to ask for it medium rare. finally the wings were also barely room temp. seemed like everything had been cooked hours ago. this was last thursday at 530p. i hope this turns around. it's a cute place with great folks working there.

I got the #5 house-made vegan burger. It had a good crust on it, but kinda lacking in flavor overall. I'd go again, just get the beyond burger next time. It's also order at counter not a sit-down place, but it's pretty quick if that's what you're looking for.
Landing here at lunch time after weighing my dog at Pet Food Express, I thought the idea of this normally out-of-budget dog cafe lunch was worthy this once. I loved that quinoa veggie burger and like those “hand cut” fries almost as much for thinness and leaving the skins on. Service was A-ok. That all makes a 4-star. However, I seriously must ding TWO STARS OFF for not having the umbrellas up on this strong sunny day and that poor waiter being mandated to refuse to let me open one myself telling me the excuse “ wind is too strong today.” Excuse me, the sun was strong, and those bright colored umbrellas are ADVERTISING shade that my dog and I were practically denied. The waiter scrambled to give me a tall table with tree shade that put me in a distant height to disappoint my dog even though my BLACK DOG did get some shade. I saw a dog cafe with beautiful umbrellas on this sunny day. That is false advertising. By the way, having worked many years as a mover the umbrella bases definitely were heavy.

Great burger, seriously great burger, and I love that they have grass fed beef. Chicken was only okay, the sandwich was dry but a lot better when dipped in the Brussel sprout marinade, so I'd recommend getting the lemon one if you want a chicken sandwich.
Best Brussel sprouts I've had in a long time and I order those everywhere. Cookies were burned, and shake was good but a bit thin/over blended but the burgers and Brussels more than made up for it.

When you spend the afternoon shopping, touring the old stomping grounds in the Sun Valley neighborhood, and a supportive visit at the historic Mt. Tamalpais Cemetery and Mosuleum's in San Rafael, and, all the places to grab late lunch in San Anselmo close at 2:30 and don't reopen for the dinner until 5:00 pm, 🌟The HUB in San Anselmo, was the perfect stop for a perfectly cooked burger, fries and a chocolate shake for a mid afternoon lunch.

Had the BBQ Burger, which was decent. The fries, however, were limp and not crisp at all. I would pass on the fries for almost $6.
