I loved the atmosphere in this restaurant. Service was amazing our server Juleah was very nice and attentive to a party of 20 she did amazing. Drinks were really good food was worth every penny. I would highly recommend this place for birthday parties! Also the music was on point for everyone.

Amazing atmosphere. Service was excellent. Both managers checked in on our table to ask how our service was. You are able to order happy hour even with a large party we appreciated that. The drinks were generous and delicious.

This review is not intended to attack the staff or the establishment. Instead, I am sharing my experience in the hope that it will help improve the overall customer experience. I am not a food critic, so I apologize if my feedback is not structured in the traditional sense. I will try my best to break down my experience from the beginning until the end. Let's start with the setting of the establishment. They did an excellent job of creating a vibe and atmosphere, and I was seated quickly since I had a reservation. However, the area where my daughter and I were seated was not what I had in mind. They placed us on high chairs and a table, which made it difficult for my daughter to stay still. Additionally, they placed us in a very dark corner of the floor, and I had to rely on a flashlight to read the menu. I could not see my food well either, which is essential for a great dining experience. I asked for more light, but unfortunately, it was not possible. Our backs were facing the main entrance, and there was no soundproof barrier, and I could hear employees' private conversations. Also, the menu did not offer a kids' section, which made me realize that this may not be a family-oriented restaurant, and I should have done more research. The music was too loud, and it made it difficult to have a private conversation with my party. I understand that profit is essential to running a business, but I noticed that they placed too many tables with little room between them, which took away from the privacy of the diners and could be a possible safety hazard. My daughter's plate was served promptly, but unfortunately, that was not the case with mine. It took 25-30 minutes for my plate to arrive, which was two mole enchiladas with rice and beans. The staff apologized for the inconvenience, but the damage was already done. This could have been due to a lack of communication and preparation. The manager offered to apply a discount and a dessert on the house.

The food was so flavorful and delicious! I got the carne asada plate and my boyfriend got the lomo saltado! It's basically carne fries with chimichurri and it was so tasty! We went on a Wednesday which was half off of Mezcal drinks. The cocktails were good, food was even better. Our server was kind and helpful with menu recommendations. We'll definitely be returning:)

I recently dined with my wife here at Kalaveras, not knowing what to expect, the waitress was impeccable, attentive and friendly ensuring a delightful experience. The menu boasted a variety of dishes and the flavors were exquisite, leaving my taste buds in awe. The inviting environment, coupled with tasteful decor, created a perfect ambiance for a memorable dining experience.

Came in for brunch Saturday morning, mistakenly thought that it was the brunch buffet, but still had a great meal. The staff was friendly and quick, the food was good, and the drinks were great as well.

First visit for our group. Enjoyed our varying food choices from salad to burritos, to tacos. Our server was very pleasant and attentive without being annoying and constantly interrupting our conversations. The restaurant itself was cheerful, colorful, clean, and tables spaced well enough that there would be no feeling cramped. Liked that it is family friendly -- there were children there up to the age of 10 years. However, the one thing that made me feel uncomfortable was the number of music videos being presented on half the large screens which were hung close to the ceiling on every wall. The videos were very adult -- women scantily clad, grinding, twerking, signing suggestively, with very up close shots of all the spilling body parts. I don't feel it appropriate viewing for the children present, and yes, they were paying attention. Hopefully, someone will take it upon themselves to move these particular videos to the evening hours, and find music videos more appropriate for daytime when children are present. I am willing to give the restaurant another visit, but will warn anyone that asks that it is not currently children friendly.

Went for lunch on a Saturday , not many people which was very nice. Food was tasty we ordered a carne asada burrito, chicken nachos and 3 birria tacos and 1 coke. We paid over $70 for our lunch which is pretty pricey. I don't understand why or when Mexican food has gotten soo expensive. They do have daily specials during the week and their happy hour prices are good. The service was great hostess was friendly and so was our sever. When we left the hostess gave us a flyer with their weekday specials and if we take the flyer in with us on our next visit we get a margarita flight for 80% off.

Took my adult kids for their birthday! Our waiter was the best. Literally my only complaint is the extra $1.90 I had to pay when I asked for extra dressing for the salad. The size of the dressing is not large enough for the size of the salad. I would definitely go back.

Overall the the food was just mediocre. I had the birria taco's and I did not like them. They did not taste good and they were super greasy. My son's chicken taco was just OK. My husband did like his burrito, but they forgot to bring his sour cream with his burrito.

This place has by far the worst breakfast burritos in town. They advertise a breakfast burrito for $3.99. When I ordered it she asked if I wanted bacon, sausage or ham. I asked for half bacon half sausage. She said ok. When I pulled up to pay she said $6.39. I was like your giant sight says breakfast burrito $3.99. She says you ordered extra meat so it's a $2.00 charge. We can't do half and half. Confused by this I just paid the lady and thought for two extra bucks there's probably gonna be a lot of meat in this burrito so cool. Nope. I got a potato burrito. No meat. Straight up potato burrito. See pics. This place is a ripoff.

9 years later and we find ourselves back in the area. The breakfast burritos may have gone up $1.50 but at $3.99 they are still a steal! The homemade tortillas are what put these burritos over the top!

We came for brunch and it was a lot of fun. Our server was awesome. Another girl that brought out the champagne for our mimosas was rude, so that's why I took off one star, but overall it was great service. I feel like they might be just starting the whole brunch experience and have a few kinks to work out. The omelette bar was tragic lol. Tamales are too notch.

Their food is really good. However watch what they charge you. I was over charged, and when I went back to have it corrected, he told me it would be the same price. I promise, if you order a asada burrito wet, it will cost more than a bean burrito wet. (A pain asada burrito is $9.99. A bean burrito is $5.15) no way can it cost the same if you make them wet. Very disappointed. Doubt I'll order food there again.

Food was delicious! I love their shredded beef tacos! & their 5 Rolled taquitos are also good! Lots of guacamole. 4 service stars only because the drive thru takes forever, & 3 atmosphere stars, because too many homeless around going up to you at the drive-thru asking for money. Other than that, I highly recommend their food!
