Amapola restaurant on mcvernom. I had visited this place more times that I can remember because food has the good mexican flavor & spice salsa .They make a decent burrito chicken with rice and beans on the side under 15dlls.I remember when I
Tought 9dlls was a lot for a simple burrito ?. I love the pictures painted on the wall of the great pedro infante y ,Vicente Fernandez , Lola la grande famous mexican singers ,Inside is clean and tables are clean ♡.Down to critics. Idid not like the strawberry water it has way to much sugar and too much salt on beans and meat ,but Staff will try to make every effort to make sure coustumers are happy with there food...Sourranding area is usually okay but you may see homeless waiting at the driving tru asking for spear money .

That I know of it's 1 of 2 locations I don't know with came first but the location on baseline & MTN Vernon is way better then the location on MTN Vernon and 7th.

Have driven past here, hundreds of times. Decided to stop. Glad I did. My soft tacos of (3) were edge to edge filled with meat, couldn't see the tortillas underneath. Plus, they were delicious. The fries were perfect, crunchy and well seasoned. My mother's Chili Verde Burrito was very good per my Mom. I most definitely, coming back. Oh, and the prices were more than reasonable. Cheaper then Amapola's on Baseline and Mt.Vernon.

Ordered a carne asada burrito and it was just meat and cabbage, and the tortilla wasn’t even cooked it was cold.

I’m not sure what happened , but this place and the one on baseline are no longer the same anymore. I’ve given you guys so many chances , but this is it. Food was disgusting.
