I decided on the 3-course meal out by the fire which was a set price of $375. We ordered drinks, but the lemon drop martini tasted watered down, and the old-fashioned was not properly made. Since it was our wedding anniversary, we didn't want to complain and ruin the mood. We started with clam chowder, which was delicious, but the main course, prime rib, and lobster tails were bland with no flavor. The steaks were overcooked, and the only thing that had any taste was the broccoli. My wife barely touched her food, but we didn't want to complain and ruin the night. For dessert, we chose chocolate cake, which had a good flavor but was very dry. When we received the bill, it was almost $600 instead of $375, including an $85 gratuity charge. We asked to speak to the person in charge, and they referred us to the sous chef, John, who was apologetic and tried to make things right. Little did I know, there was higher leadership present who did not want to speak with us. Even though they had already charged my card, I refused to sign until I spoke to the owner of the establishment. As we left the restaurant, we were met by the server, Alex, sous chef John, and a woman whose identity we did not know. The woman demanded that we sign the check and was trying to reach for her phone to call the authorities. I was confused since I had already paid for my meal with my credit card. The woman was very condescending and refused to tell us her name or position at the restaurant. Eventually, we came to an agreement, but the whole incident ruined our night. I might have considered giving the place another chance if it hadn't been for our encounter with the staff in the parking lot. I take full responsibility for not complaining at the time; I was only willing to deal with it for the amount I had already paid, not for an additional $225. Despite this, the staff's conduct was very unprofessional, and it was disappointing to see them hiding behind their veneer of professionalism.

The food was great especially the steak and the mashed potatoes. The view was wonderful, specially at night when the goats were working on mowing the lawn. The appetizers were great too. The salmon and cheese cake were OK. Wouldn’t get then again, but was part of the event. I did not liked that there was no water at the tables or where the sodas were. There was not hot water either to make a tea.

We went during breakfast and dinner. The breakfast was good. It was a brunch and prices were prefixed. So heads up. Unlimited mimosas. The menu is small. Dinner was good but my opinion I would only go back for brunch.

We came to celebrate my mom's birthday for what we thought was going to be brunch style but $600 dollars later it was a huge disappointment. I will never go back again, food was over priced not a great selection and wasn't worth the price. I don't know how they get away with charging these prices! Service was not worth the gratitude of $103 the only thing positive was us leaving and sitting out on there deck which was run down and enjoying the view

1. Occasion: Valentines Day Dinner. Cost $275- for a middle age couple 2. Appearance: Wobbly table; had to use the table linen to tuck under the leg to stop the table from moving. They used outside patio tables that did not have a flat surface so drinks almost spilled. 3. Food: Her- seafood pasta was good. His-Filet Mignon(Medium rare), was too charred and not good, a little on the chewy side. Salad was not fresh and the bread almost chipped my husbands tooth it was so hard. The Lobster Bisque was good and the dessert as well. 4. Service: Polite but sketchy (Make is make sense) 5. Cleanliness: Perhaps the old furniture and the lack of upkeep makes the place look dirty. Overall I would never go back. It felt like everything was masked and I got robbed. Not a $275 kind of restaurant. The view is not worth it!

Small portions and food came out wrong. Service sucked. Sat for 20 min before being acknowledged. Steak was dry and over cooked. Asked for water and never got it asked again and waited. Drinks were watered down. Never coming again. Maybe if the service wasn't so terrible. Not once did they check on us or ask if we needed anything. Don't waste your time here

Open table had me select patio outdoor dining and they acted as if I had to make another special reservation for it. I didn't want to ruin the memory of Valentine's Day with my date by arguing with a preset appointments with the staff and I also requested a Valentine's note on the table for my date which isn't that hard to accommodate but that wasn't done as well. I still left a tip. But for those reading for the value and the price this place had a nice view but was mediocre. Spend your money elsewhere.

Service was excruciatingly slow on a not so busy Valentine's dinner. Despite a set menu, the waiter didn't know what to give us. After the second course, the main course didn't arrive until 40 minutes later. Mind you, this was a set menu and we didn't customize anything that can cause a delay in the kitchen. Ordered the chicken and it wasn't fully cooked as it still has blood within it. We promptly got a replacement dish but after the slowness and lack of waiter attention on a not so busy night, we no longer had the appetite. on the positive side, the hostess (Cecy) was very kind and understanding and they took off the bad chicken off the bill. But unfortunately, the valentine date was an unexpected disaster.

Service and food were great. Bartender needs to work on their skills for cocktails. Good wine selection. Family entered with toddler screaming for about 15 minutes and management came to relocate mom and child to an area away from diners. This was exactly what needed to happen as patrons don't want to spend hard earned money for fine dining and have to hear that. Keep that noise at Dennys.

This place is absolutely disgusting. The food was terrible! Went for a big birthday party and we ordered The prime rib, Chicken Alfredo and Burger for the kids. Prime rib was overcooked and rubbery, chicken Alfredo was uncooked, chicken was pink and my kids took one bite of the hamburger and said Dad this isn't good. I'm not sure how you can mess up a cheesecake but they managed to do that too. The service was bad. Took the waiter 25 mins to ask me what I wanted to drink. We dropped $2,300 with our group and most of us left unhappy. For the prices they charge you'd think the food would be so good you'd forget about the terrible service. Nope! Never coming back Zero stars if I could

The Castaways Sunday brunch was a better value and full variety of excellent options. Be aware that this is a set menu with a single option per appetizer, entree, and dessert. Lovely presentation and the food is delicious, but the pricing is high. We will patronize Palm Springs restaurants until this location brings back the buffet that was discontinued. Spent $260+ for 3 adults, including tip for Sunday brunch. Choice: Set menu ONLY

I brought my wife here for her birthday. She said "surprise me", and I did.the restaurant looks nice, clean and classy. There was plenty of parking. They have an impressive bar, and beautiful views of the city lights. Soft music playing in the background, and perhaps it was because there were only a few couples dining, but it was nice and peaceful. We ordered a steak, and a fish plate. Both were nicely set up, and served. Both tasted delicious. We had 2 drinks and although they were not strong, they were tasty! All staff was friendly, and welcoming. We were truly impressed with the location, our meals, and their service. Highly recommend!
