So, there was a time, not too long ago (depending on when you're reading this) that there was a "Chicken Sandwich War" with the big chain eateries. All of them rethought their strategy for making the BEST chicken sandwich (oddly most of it surrounded the use of pickles)....anyway.... LOOK NO FURTHER for one of the BEST [BLEEPING] CHICKEN SANDWICHES you'll EVER EAT! No joke, the chicken sandwich here is DELICIOUS. What makes it better than great, is that it is also MASSIVE (I'm talking you need both hands to hold this s******* The chicken is battered and fried to crispy perfection, while the chicken inside is moist and tender. The HOT sauce adds the perfect KICK to the sandwich (so don't be afraid to ask for it hot). The slaw and (yes) pickles are a perfect compliment to the overall sandwich, lending it some wetness and a different textured crunch. That bun...my oh my...that bun is heavenly. All in all this is a five star sandwich all by itself. The fries, not to be too outdone by the sandwich are great, too! Battered with something and fried, they are definitely NOT an afterthought here. They are delicious, and plentiful. About the service: One guy working on a Monday lunch hour. He's super friendly and welcoming, but he's the only one working. He warned me it would take about 7 minutes to get my order ready, and he was right on the dot. Since this place is located INSIDE THE WATERMAN DISCOUNT MALL, I was cool with it. I walked around and looked at all the stuff while I waited...and trust me, it's WORTH THE WAIT!

Came here maybe 8 or 9 months ago during lunch and no one was there during listed business hours. 2 other parties looking around. We all waited a few minutes, I left. Was pretty disappointed because the 3 or 4 reviews were hyping the place up. Decided to give this place another try. Rolled by again during lunchtime and they were open. Saw several customers enjoying their food which is always a good sign. They are basically a wing and waffle place. They had wings and waffle combo or wings by themselves. Wasn't in the mood for savory and sweet so I ordered just wings in unsauced southern fried and buffalo. Judging by their main offerings, should have went with all southern fried. Their buffalo sauce was ok/average. Nothing amazing, not horrible, just standard buffalo. The texture of the buffalo was really unappetizing. Tasted like the chicken was boiled then sauced. Their southern fried... fantastic. Perfect example of great fried chicken wings. Perfectly fried, crispy and crunchy flavorful batter on the outside, juicy and moisture on the inside. No bland, dry chicken here. After this visit, definitely will be back to try their waffles as well. Overall, worth the visit. It's located in a rundown indoor mall that is basically an indoor swap meet. Head all the way left, go down towards the end and there will be a small food court area. They're located there.

Some of the best chicken I have ever had! Just look at the video. You can see all the spices and perfect crisp. The waffle was fluffy with the perfect amount of brown sugar. Seriously one of the most impressive eating experiences I have had in a while. My hat is off to the chef

This is theeeee bombest spot ever!!! I love everything here it tastes amazing the customer service is great. Big props to the chef the food is always fresh and they don't overdue it with the batter. Everything is perfect I crave their chicken sandwiches all the time !

Ok so decided to try this little hole in the wall in the waterman mall. The food though......... Make ya slap yo momma!! It is so good!! Every time I go I'm never disappointed!! And the people there are so nice...

Already talking about when we can come back. We couldn't wait and didn't get a photo of the food. But this place is bomb. Worth the wait! In the words of my ten year old "everything was bussin'". We got the The Big Bird and order of lemon pepper wings. We should have got two sandwiches we were fighting over last bite. My child got the chicken and waffle. Presentation was executed. We were also begging her for more of the waffle. DAMN it was good! Will definitely get our own next time. There will for sure be a next time too. Koolaid was the perfect match for this meal. Everything was hot and fresh. A must try when looking for a chicken sandwich or chicken and waffles! It is located in the waterman in the food court. Suggest placing your order and browsing while they chef it up.

I was a little skeptical when I realized it was inside of that big discount mall... but my God. We were all pleasantly surprised. All of the food came out pretty quickly considering it was 3 of us and everything was hot & fresh. The chicken was so juicy and tender and even the fries were delicious. Great customer service. We loved it!
Chicken and waffles are Bomb!! Hard not to get this everyday. You won't regret it. Everything is freshly made. Along with the kool-aid and lemonade mix you'll know you made the right decision.
