The staff at the San Bernardino CA consulate needs to be more efficient because they are very slow

I was able to get my dual citizenship. There was an issue where my 2nd appointment got canceled because i had to amend my american birth certificate but months later i was able to email them and they called me 2 days later to see how they could help. They were able to give me an appointment before the holidays and I went back with copies of all my documents. Then got a second appointment to certify my documents and was able to pick up my certificate the next day. Its almost impossible to get appointments so i recomend calling early in the morning as they usually upload new appointments after 8pm for the next month. Make sure to take the correct number of copies of your documents or else you have to wait for the printer person and they only accept small bills for payment. Also, appointments only, no walk in's. There is free public parking across the street. Up on the public parking level you walk toward the san bernadino city treasurer building then you can walk towards the street, cross and to the right is the entrance of the consulate.

Bad service. In every sense, very arrogant and always bad-tempered, and the security person feels like he owns the consulate. And apart from that, they are there to serve the Mexican citizen, not to disrespect us.

The guy at the reception was too friendly!
We traveled from Utah because there were no appointments in our state and when the boy named David from Monterrey arrived.
He treated us very kindly, chatty and helped us a lot.

I couldn't say that all Employees are equal, but today I had a bad experience, I approached a worker (Héctor Quiroz)
Just to ask how long it took after the prints and the photo to which the
He answered very rudely “please sit down, there are 3 of us” I only answered “ok” which was strange because
The fact that everyone turned to look after asking made me wait for my document until the consulate almost closed, only that I no longer asked for fear that he would yell at me again or that he would not
I will hand over my documents (it's unfair why we shouldn't feel like this in our “safe place” we're not supposed to be treated like this

Nunca tienen citas para la doble nacionalidad… más de un año intentando sacar una y siempre recibo la misma respuesta que no tienen citas para este servicio. Esto ya es inaceptable y una burla hacia nosotros.

I don't understand why they are difficult to make an appointment. , According to there is never space. And it takes a long time for them to answer you and if you're lucky. Sometimes. I better hang up because it's taking too long. They are always busy. According to them. , and when they finally answer you to schedule an appointment. They say they don't have their space and you have to call again to see if there is availability. , I explain to them that I am years old. Treating. They always say the same thing, apart if you want. Make an appointment for two. Since it is very difficult, they say it is not possible. That only the interested but. They should be more understanding since many people work and they don't have the time to be in line waiting for hours. , And to finally tell you. Again no appointments. Call again. And so on. The years go by. And they are always so busy. That there are never dates. . They should hire more staff if they are so busy. ,

They need to update their website. The 1(855) number is a Medicare/cal number. Also, there’s very minimal information posted on their page which causes people to show up to their office, resulting in long lines.

Take too long to review papers. Over 2 hours.

The Mexican consulate in the city of San Bernardino reminded me of when I lived in Mexico
and the despotism with which the employees treat people, I had not been to a consulate for more than 30 years but nothing has changed makes me very sad for all the people who have to deal with them because of their needs.

Got blocked by the site back to back captures. They have no available appointments anywhere.

Terrible information if there is no appointment at the consulate that belongs to your city because they don't give you any other option. It's really frustrating to communicate with those people who are not trained for that type of work, disgusting.
