Was excited to try this place out but had a terrible experience, and I’ve had hotpot before so it’s not my first rodeo. The Meat was sour, the broth was tasteless, the and the dipping sauces were just salty. I had an upset stomach from this place for two days. Would not recommend it to others and will not be eating here again.

We used to really enjoy this place but now the pricing is getting ridiculous. For me, my husband and our 3 kids it comes out to over $200 because if this mandatory 13% gratuity they tack on. Bad enough at first they were charging my 10 year olds as adults because they’re tall, now they tacked on the 13% gratuity for a place where we LITERALLY get our own food and our own drinks. It’s truly not worth the money. Sorry hello shabu but you’ve lost us as customers now.

My friend and I met here for business lunch a few days ago to check it out and we were not disappointed!!! The meat choices, seafood and vegetables were very fresh. The robot delivering the meat was interesting and to us it added flare to the dining experience. The service personnel were polite, cheerful and very helpful. In addition to good food, the place was clean !! We will certainly visit this restaurant again!

Came here to eat for my birthday with 3 adults and two children. The children were not going to eat however they were still charging us. And then the female manager wants to say “that’s our policy, what do you want me to do about it, you can go somewhere else. So we left. Very rude management. The place was empty.

I’ve been coming here since they first opened and have visited numerous times because we genuinely try to support local businesses. It was exciting to have a shabu place in San Bernardino. Unfortunately, after today, I will no longer be returning.

Within 10 minutes of being seated, I slipped and fell completely onto my back. There were no warning signs indicating the floor was wet or slippery. As a result of the fall, I injured my back, hip, elbows, wrist, knees, and neck. After I got up, the table next to where I fell even mentioned that the floors were very slippery.

What made the situation worse was the lack of care from management. The manager didn’t come to check on me until about 20 minutes later. Instead of showing concern, she told us that if we wanted a refund, we had to leave and then turned off our soups in the middle of our meal. She even scolded my husband for taking one bite of his food, which was completely unnecessary and unprofessional given the situation. It was very clear they wanted to take no accountability for their lack of proper floor safety and response.

I asked for an incident report, which she refused to provide. She claimed the owner was on the way and that I could wait to speak with him. She also blamed the rain, saying everything was wet, yet I didn’t even slip outside in the actual rain, only inside the restaurant. She then said their insurance would contact us, followed by saying the owner would call us by today. As of now, no one has contacted us.

This was extremely disappointing and unprofessional, especially considering I was physically injured on their premises. Supporting local businesses is important to us, but customer safety and accountability matter more

If the restaurant had a valid explanation as to why there is a 15% gratuity for a family of 5 or more, I wouldn't be as disappointed. However, robots are serving you all of your meat, and the servers are only there if you need more broth (which in our case no one did) and to clean up after. The robot kept serving our meat to an empty table right beside ours and it wasn't until we could flag down a server to tell her about the error.
To top it all off, the unfriendly staff made this experience super uncomfortable. Would not be coming back unfortunately.
