We purchased a tres leche cake for my sons birthday and it was phenomenal! Cake was scrumptious, the frosting was the perfect amount of sweetness, and the peaches and strawberries were a nice touch with Oreos. She piped happy birthday on it right then and then at pick up. Also bought the last two jalapeño and cream cheese breads and those did not disappoint!! The bread was soft but had great chew and they were filled generously in comparison to what I’ve bought at the markets. We would go back to try the pan dulce.

I should have read the reviews before going to this place. First they charged me 90 dollars for the smallest cake. Upon picking up the cake the woman boxed it and taped. The next day when I opened the box I noticed it had a different name than what I wrote on the paper. I texted the number and no response for hours. I texted again 3 hours later and they finally responded by saying “I’m not at the bakery I’ll check when I get there”. He took so long to acknowledge the mistake and all he said “ yes it was written differently than what u wrote on the paper, apologies for that”. He did not care or offered me to fix it. Offered me no discount or incentive for the inconvenience they caused me. I had to ask how could we fix this. He said bring it back!!! By that point I had no time to take the cake back. I paid $90 dollars, they have no care for their customers, for sure I will never go back. People go somewhere else, it is not worth the disappointment.Also the gentleman in the front is unprofessional, after I wrote my number on the paper and I left he text me a confirmation I responded by saying thank you and he sent me an unprofessional meme. I am customer not your friend!! I will never go back to this place! Very overpriced for the low quality of service!!!!
Update: 12/27/2025 Wow! You should’ve responded this quick when I contacted you. Unbelievable that you blame the customer for your mistake when clients put their full trust on your business to do their job well. I am not the expert you are. I advised you I would try to find someone as I was at work. It was such an inconvenience as it was the day to the party I wasn’t counting on this. Hope that money serves you well. I'm giving it a 2 rating.Cake was decorate nice but cake tasted old! The cake was so dry and rough and stawberries inside the cake were old and nasty. I was very disappointed.I took one bite and tossed it in the trash.I will not buy her again, it was a waste of money.

I usually do not get tres Leche cakes, but my niece requested it for her birthday with Oreo filling, and it was the biggest hit. Very delicious. The staff there is always very friendly and willing to help with any request. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a delicious cake at a great price.

My first time coming to Josie’s bakery a recommendation from a friend. Picked up a tres leche cake for my wife’s birthday and wow it’s amazing! Not to forget the great customer service in helping me select the perfect cake. And they answered all my questions about other baked goods and have plenty of samples! This is my goto bakery now for cookies and sweets and the best cakes!
